FRONTIER PARK: the beautiful piece of land owned by the City of Erie, PA is a center of outdoor activities throughout the year - from soccer games and concerts in the summer to sled riding and cross country skiing in winter. On this day, it appeared to be sleeping under a blanket of snow. Gabriella, as usual had her iPhone out so I asked her to film the park as we drove by the long stretch of land from the Bay Front Highway to the south side of the park. . She did such a great job of shooting that I thought it would be fun and interesting to use the footage, so I decided to compose a piece of music for the film clip. I used an inexpensive Yamaha keyboard, my Godin Classical and my Samick Fretless Guitar to record the music on a MacBook with Garageband. I then laid the audio track over the film footage in Final Cut Pro. I'm seldom happy with the music that I compose and this is no exception but I decided to share it anyway.
