My latest original musical for 2018 - Planet Origami is a futuristic sci-fi story about an imaginary place where the only inhabitants are androids who spend their days decorating their home planet with trillions of flowers, albeit they're all made from paper and plastic. This was brought about by a set of instructions programmed by the last of the real inhabitants after a devastating burst of solar radiation destroys all life. For the past millennia, the androids have faithfully carried out this programme of rejuvination even though it is now possible to re-plant with living biology. Many have tried to pursuade the population to change their convictions to no avail. The Galactic Council decide to give it one more try by sending their latest and greenest member; Melody Mayflower has been assigned this onerous task, as a last resort. Of course she hasn't been enlightened on the purpose of her visit, except to be a represenative as a Goodwill Ambassador from Planet Earth. This is the story of her success!
