The Apple At The Top Of The Tree - Tom Brooks

At Last!

Song Reviews

ballata carina

ballata carina che si ascolta volentieri ed e' difficile con solo chitarre per questo il mio parere e' che la abbasserei di un tono cosi' negli alti il cantante ci arriva meglio comunque continua perché' sei sulla strada giusta ciao

Review

Very good production musicianship and recording the song arrangement is good although the vocal does seem stretched, perhaps a change of key might help overall very good sound and song

Fun song. Nice lyrics, vox.

I thought this was a fun, old-tymey sing along sort of tune. It put a smile on my face. The guitar playing was fine, but I'm never a fan of acoustic instruments recorded direct/via cable - even a really poor microphone sounds better to my ears. But the song is well done, production issues aside.

Hey Tom, I love your sound and your voice. Great acoustic guitar sound with some heartwarming lyrics. You have a 70's Folk Pop sound. With a bit of country at the end. Your lyrics are Sweet sentiments and a song any lady would love to hear from her lover. So I would say to you wait for her to fall into your lap! Nice melody and an easy lyric to join in and to sing-a-long to at any concert. I think you have a winner here and I would definitely consider entering it in the Country Genre to garner some extra fans. You are just over the border from me in Gwent, Wales. Please post your venues of gigs locally so I may pop along and here your songs in person.

Apple at the top of tree

Nice lively tune reminds me of the music of the 60 s. Maybe a a little snare drum or an old upright bass wound give a little uplift to the beat or maybe even a banjo with a little harmony would give it a little more feeling. Vocals are clear but it just seems to need a little more punch to the mixture , maybe it’s what you intended butI would recommend just a little extra added, not bad and the vocals are strong and the guitar beat is good but it leaves me wanting more of the 60 sounds! Best of luck to you!

good

The Apple At The Top Of The Tree review. this song is a strictly folk piece in the highest sense of the word. everything sounds in folk style as I said everything recalls the folk genre. personally it is not my favorite genre but I can give you a musical judgment that is certainly positive because all that there must be in a folk piece in your piece is therefore complimented and continues. good job

Great song dude

Sounds good, is very real, I feel your soul. Me gusta mucho como suena la guitarra, la voz, a pesar de que no entiendo la letra, porque no es mi idioma.Pero el tema suena muy alegre e inspirador
