It took a lot to get this song out, Crossed the Line is a song based on a actual situation. #C-Millz and I created this song as the situation played out. The idea for Crossed the Line was being produced on the spot as #C-Millz were going through a situation with his lady. I created the music and hook while he explained how he wanted the song to be. I thought up the hook, laid it down, then put it on loop while we wrote. After writing we recorded the verses and finished off the session only to realize that there was a real problem with #C-Millz and his lady. Crossed the Line marks the temporary break up of a couple.
