Hi all,

It's been a while since I last updated you as so much has been happening. Promoting the charity album FORuGET It has kept me very busy. I managed to do a TV and two radio interviews as well as keeping The Songgivers social media presence at a high level. With most of the funds raised now in we have raised almost £3000 for Cancer Research Uk. The album has now been deleted having been available to buy and stream for a year. It is now my intention to give you the opportunity to listen to and download more tracks from that album starting with Forget Everything you Know. It's an appropriate song for the times, especially with COP 26 coming to its conclusion. Take a good listen to the lyrics and I look forward to hearing your feedback on this song. I hope you are all keep safe during these strange days for all of us. Me and a friend are busy making new music for an album to be released within the next 12 months. All being well!

I attach a copy of the art that I had comissioned for my No1 song Love Breaks Thru, when it was first written. The sentiment of the lyric now seems very appropriate for this time when we all need to share the love for each other.

My latest song at No1 in the N1M UK Singer /Songwriter chart was inspired by an interview I heard on the radio. A Dad was talking to his young daughter about God and where He comes from. The little girl said she thought he came from the holes between the clouds in the sky. A few hours after hearing these comments the song came to me almost in its completed form. I just had to work on the second verse. I hope you find this song both beautiful and engaging. Thanks for listening and making Love Breaks Thru No1. Tom

I wrote this song some years ago, whilst living in London. Its original title was Lose Yourself, with very different lyrics. As I came near the end of completing my CD DIY Hi-Fi, I needed a rocker. I decided to rewrite the song with lyrics inspired by the credit crunch, but its also a dig at the people and Companies who try to rip us all off.

When I recorded the song using only 4 tracks this is how it went down.

Track 1, Drums, bass and lead vocal.
Track 2, Rhythmn guitar and backing vocals.
Track 3, Backing vocals.
Track 4, Lead guitar.

Its great that so many of you out there are enjoying this song so much. I hope the next track I put out on N1M will also get you support.
