I wish I had better news to share. I lost my job at the end of September due to a reduction of force. While finding work hasn’t been an issue, finding comparable pay has. I have had to move to a more affordable residence and sadly I have had to pawn some of my equipment. Well, if I being 100% transparent, all of my equipment. Once things are more stable, I’ll start the process of buying equipment. A March 1st release date is no longer the case, if that wasn’t clear. Thanks for listening!

So I tried setting up some merch on Amazon. The response was: "We appreciate your interest, but we are unable to extend to you to join Amazon Merch On Demand." The other ways to sell requires an up front out of pocket expense which I can't do. Soooo yeah. Sorry about that. I have 9 guitar scratch tracks done. My goal is 13 total songs for this next album. Given how things have gone in the past, I'm shooting for a March 1, 2024 release date. Thanks for listening!

Thank you for listening! I really appreciate seeing all the plays and getting your messages. Some of the messages. I've started writing for the third album, even laid down the first scratch for it. I might release one as a single. Not sure yet. I'm also setting up merchandise on Amazon. Shirts, hats and so on. I'll send a message when it's up and running. Again, thanks for listening!

Over the past few months people have sent me messages asking questions. I went through them and found the most repeated ones:
Question: "What does your band name mean?"
Answer: When I was a boy I asked my father why we didn't feel our feelings all at once. He said that our feelings are locked behind gates in our hearts. Our minds let our hearts know which gate to open based on the colors of the gates.
Question: "If it is just you, why not call your project 'your name' instead of something made up?:
Answer: I heard a discussion somewhere about being able to seperate the art from the artist. If you find out things about a painter or writer that you don't like then you probably won't like what they have to offer. Let's just keep it about the music.
Question: "When can we get new music?
Answer: I am not a professional musician, meaning I can't live off of what I earn from music. The distributor pays me on average $0.001 for sales on iTunes, Amazon Music, Google Play and so on.
So I work.
It is just me writing, recording, mixing and mastering. The first albut took me almost two years to complete. The second was quicker, about a year or so. I have an hourly paid, outside job in South Louisiana. Between the heat and the fucking mosquitos, most of the time I'm just too tired to work on anything.
There were other questions, but those were asked the most.
Thanks for listening!
