Since the start of 2015, a radio “import” from Marysville has gained a cult following around Central Ohio. That “import” is none other than “THE Rock and Roll Radio Show,” hosted by Ian Graham, weekdays 3 to 6 PM on WQTT 1270 AM.

How has a daily program on a small-town AM station generated so many passionate fans? It is because “THE Rock and Roll Radio Show” plays a mix of old and new rock-related music from the past 60 years. Host Ian Graham, 22, is a radio prodigy with an encyclopedic knowledge of rock music and models his on-air style after iconic Cleveland disc jockey, Alan Freed. Graham is also very supportive of Central Ohio bands, frequently featuring them on his program.

“THE Rock and Roll Radio Show” takes to the road on Friday, August 28, 2015 with the debut of QT 1270 Presents: THE Rock and Roll Radio Show Revue at the Obetz Zucchini Festival. The first installment of this traveling series will feature Ian Graham hosting three Central Ohio acts, Bosswood, Jimmy Razor and the Exceptions, and The Pink Flamingos.

Bosswood is an original band playing a trippy brand of ‘sixties psychedelia. The Pink Flamingos mix punk and power pop with female vocals and a lot of passion. Jimmy Razor and the Exceptions proudly consider themselves “a greasy rock ‘n’ roll band,” playing a mix of rockabilly, garage, and punk rock classics.

QT 1270 Presents: THE Rock and Roll Radio Show Revue plays at the Obetz Zucchini Festival Midway stage between 6 and 9 PM on Friday, August 28, 2015. The Obetz Zucchini Festival is held at Obetz Memorial Park near Columbus Motor Speedway. Admission is free.
