First I want to thank each and everyone of you for being a fan, the songs that I write are ones that have a part of my heart and soul in every word I write. This is Richard M Knittle Jr. Poet and Author thank you all for your support it is very appreciated we got your love is now part of me up to number 3 it is currently at 17, it would mean a lot to Ryder my six year old I am a single dad raising him and myself to hit that number one spot, I have more songs and some coming in the next few weeks maybe soon if we hit that spot. Hurricane
Sometimes when we touch and are
looking deep into each other's eyes
I can feel the heat start rising from
deep down inside of me and I can
hear my soul begin to speak as it
whispers something deep "Baby I
love you" as we spend our time
making love it is perfect, your
beauty sometimes blinds me
while your heart is pounding louder
when you hold me against your
body I never want to let you go,
then our lips come together with
the sound of a roaring thunder
and tears begin to fall down like
the pouring rain than the wind
begins to blow from all of our
body friction causing electrical flashes
of light that looks a lot like lightning,
"Oh, my God I think we caused a
hurricane causing the walls to crack
and fall as the roof is ripped away
the whole house is now shaking
with sounds of glass breaking every
time we come together you and me,
causing chaos to be set free, our
passion is like no other's and forever
it shall always be, I am yours and
you are mine until the ends of all
time, so come on baby let us try
again let us rip apart the house yet
once again.

About Richard M Knittle Jr.
Richard M Knittle Jr. is a Best-Selling Author and a four-time Texas Poet Laureate Nominee 2106-2024 with twenty-three books to his credit. The darkness of life left him with addiction, sorrow, and misfortune; a path which left most debilitated. He relentlessly fought his demons, empowering himself with understanding and empathy bleeding out in his poetry.
Richard's fight for his son, not acknowledged through blood, put this poet in a battle of words with a judicial system bent on keeping the properness of law, but not necessarily the law of righteousness. His courage and tenacity blessed him with the right to be the father in his son Ryder's life.
The epitome of heroism. Richard is a veteran of two services in the US Navy and the US Army National Guard with three honorable discharges. Although he suffers from clinical depression and PTSD; he uses poetry in his struggles to advocate for all veterans. He enjoys presenting his poetry live on stage to audiences through groups such as Spoken Word Poetry. He is not only a poet but a published songwriter. I had the pleasure of being a guest on his radio show Poetry because it matters. His warmth and honest sincerity are very much mirrored in his poetic words. It was an experience I will always remember. He is a treasured friend and inspiration to all who read his poetry and are blessed to know him.
