SEAN PIERRE
RapperBorn and raised in Pacoima, California, Sean Pierre was raised by his mom, grandmother, aunt and sister, before he relocated at age 5 to Palmdale, California. With the good guidance of his upbringing, Sean attended the College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, earning an Associates degree in Social Science, while playing football at the school. And then came the game-changer for Sean. He transferred to San Jose State University, and met his Label mate, Ray AKA “RAYDIO.” The pair quickly recognized a musical kinship, and launched rap duo Weliqgreenoes. Soon aligned with mentor Anthony Handy, the act was signed in 2014 to his indie label Tha Kamp Entertainment, LLC.
REALRAYDIO
RapperRaydio is a Hip Hop and Rap artist located in San Jose California. A native of San Diego, he was introduced to music by his parents, who by his reckoning had “the best record collection ever”. By the tender age of eight, he was well in tune with the classics, and found himself gravitating towards the burgeoning Hip Hop trend, and most especially the east coast rappers Naughty By Nature. He taught himself how to make beats and started making his own music, but by the age of sixteen he found himself immersed in another talent entirely. Basketball became his primary focus through high school and eventually college, going on to play for San Jose State. Ironically, it was a college English professor who nudged him back towards his creative pursuits, encouraging him to build on what she saw as a great talent for writing poetry and stories. Though on the surface he may not have taken her remarks seriously, he began to pour all of his thoughts, emotions and frustrations into creating beats, music and songs, finally realizing that what he once thought of as a hobby had the potential to be so much more. He continued to hone his craft through the completion of his basketball degree at San Jose State. During his time there, Ray chanced to meet up and coming Hip Hop artist Sean Pierre, and they have been making music together ever since. The two have collaborated on several recordings released under Sean’s name, but in 2014 Raydio signed as an artist in his own right to Tha Kamp Entertainment and is currently working on his soon-to-be-released debut EP.
