Springfield Jazz Rots Festival/Avery Sharpe New England Choir
United States, Massachusetts, Springfield, Court Square, 01104The Springfield Jazz & Roots Festival celebrates the emergence of Springfield’s arts and culture district downtown, and promotes an arts driven, community oriented and sustainable revitalization of the City.
This free outdoor festival allows all to share in a significant arts and culture event in the heart of downtown Springfield and features locally and internationally acclaimed musical artists.
This year's lineup will include Butler, Bernstein and the Hot 9, Avery Sharpe's New England Gospel Choir (a tribute to Sister Rosetta Tharpe), and Elan Trotman. More to be announced soon!
In addition, there will be a variety of local food and art. The rich diversity, creativity, and spirit of Springfield’s communities will be reflected through the performances, food, and conversations – demonstrating the beautiful tapestry that is Springfield.
The event is on Saturday, August 8th in Court Square from 11am – 10pm.Open To PublicAll Ages
