Out of the Darkness Community Walks is an American foundation for the prevention of suicide. The core of the Out of the Darkness Walks are the community walks that created a movement. Held in hundreds of cities across the country (including Texarkana), they give people the courage to open up about their own struggle or loss, and the platform to change our culture’s approach to mental health.

Most of us have been affected by the loss of a loved one, hero, friend or foe to their inner demons. We can help to change this ever growing epidemic by supporting initiatives like Out of the Darkness Community Walks here in Texarkana. Together we can make a difference.
