Soulful R&B

Helpful

In the ethereal realms of "We Know a Thing or Two 'bout Love," echoes of Marvin Gaye dance with a modern muse, creating a melodic tapestry that weaves through the heartstrings of nostalgia and contemporary allure. The song, a symphony of soulful serenades, pays homage to the legendary Marvin Gaye while embracing the freshness of a modern musical landscape. The vocals, akin to a celestial choir, serenade the listener with a resonance reminiscent of Motown songer's soul-stirring timbre. The arrangement is a delicate ballet, as if notes pirouette in harmony, choreographed by the spirit of R&B's golden era. The mixing, a masterful alchemy, ensures every instrument has its moment in the spotlight. "We Know a Thing or Two 'bout Love" is not merely a song; it's a lyrical ballad, an ode to love's timeless essence.

The piano intro is so beautiful and I really like it, I really like how this is sung and the vocals are really beautiful. The piano in the back really adds too the track too. Excited to see your other stuff too, Than the chorus is super catchy kinda like backstreet boys vibes which is really cool. and I like the mix of pop and rnb put together in one song its kinda cool and fun. Good lyric writing too. This song is a really cool mix of a couple of genres but I like how they mix so well together. Super catchy and fun even as I write its starting to get stuck in my head so thats kinda fun. The interlude near the end is cool too. I feel like the vocals could be a bit louder tho as they almost get lost in the mix and your vocals are strong so they are really important but otherwise really good job and keep sharing your story and voice.

Relaxed R&B sound...could use just a little touch of Pro

Helpful

It's a nice relaxed song...the next step to pro misses (to my amateur ears) the exact choice of keyboard sound, and risers might be perfected and more impactfull...A really pro recording has just a little more finesse in produced sound and dynamics, drums might be better with small variations... (Just an amateur speaking who cannot sing or play very well...). I have often the same tip...use a reference track for the impact and sound quality you like in your favorite recordings...Enjoy your music !

Fine attempt

Something is here but the direction is not clearly established. Chorus is solid, but needs a little more refinement. If this is your sound then make a bolder statement. Verse structure needs a little work. At times sounds like too many words not melodically defined. Bigger production with a little more refinement should do it. All the best with it.

A review of song We know a thing or two ‘bout love

Helpful

I really like the singing, the vocals in the chorus. Even the melody of the chorus itself. From the gap between the choruses to the end I would add a guitar solo or a "Prince" style riff. The ending is strangely and quickly cut. The lead vocals aren't bad, but they don't sound that professional compared to the chorus. Today it is common to add autotune to the voice and add all sorts of effects (especially echoes at the end of phrases would be impressive, etc.). In addition, in my opinion, the stanzas are repeated too many times. At least I would skip the last one. The song has a lot of radio play potential in my opinion.

Love Plus 2

One of the things I enjoy most about Number One Music artists is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here, with this song with the delicate intro in the grooves, it sways back and forth like a cool summer breeze. Vocally, raw and passionate. If I were producing the song, I'd add more effect to SoniQ's vocals for effect, but really a lovely song.

This song is remarkably unique, and it carries the energy that mdern music inquires for the fans of both old and new era. As a critique I would focus more on the buildup and the chorus aspects of the song or instrumentation. The chorus is essentially the climax of the entire embodiment of a song and it should almost always inspire the energy that a listener is seeking to relate towards. Hot Track

Helpful

This is one hot track. The intro is very melodic and I love the build into the verses. It definitely gives me a 90s, early 00's vibe. I am feeling this entire song from start to finish. you did an amazing job with this song. As a listener here in the US, I must say you are showing your sound from the Netherlands, and I am super impressed. Please keep up the awesome work and I look forward to hearing more.
