About StudioBdx

Mr. Stacey, or "Bdx" as he is called (an abbreviated version of his last name, "Boudreaux") began playing around 1976 when he thought the 4 strings he had on his nifty Silvertone from the Western Auto was the thing.
Most of the groups he made an effort with usually focused on the music he would write and compose, only. They would cover maybe 2-3 songs because they were at that time "super bad!" . ... read more

CUE4Z has been hanging around the musical movement of Mr. Boudreaux since 1977, where in he would hop in and out of songs as he felt motivated to do. These two have been friends, I'm sure since around the B.C. era. I gist of course, but safe to say it's been a lifetime. Both share a common experience of hard lessons learned which divided their paths for a number of years. Needless to say, once again converging path's have returned them to the music scene, stronger and smarter and with much more to give in the way of solid, meaningful, deeper and emotionally driven musical arrangements. Also, only recently has CUE4Z picked up the guitar, for an addition to his repertoire. His 1 year +/- guitar ability can be heard on tracks such as ENERGY TO BE, LIGHT OF THE LORD-NIV, SEEN IT ALL BEFORE, and others.

SJ Boudreaux - STUDIO BDX

They would cover maybe 2-3 songs because they were at that time "super bad!" ..(as he would put it). Bdx served as a change in tempo for any venue that he would perform for. For the basic reason that no-one knew any of his music (but that was changing). Interesting point he makes is "....my audience couldnt judge it in the sense of --"hey...that didn't t sound like the CD"....they either liked it or not. And for that matter, I didn't have a CD.!!... ha ha..." As much as Bdx professes to love playing good, solid & complex rock and roll, his heart remains with and gravitates towards the acoustic sound, providing the platform to share personal and noteworthy life events in which he attributes survival of, to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He notes "...my BEST thinking got me in the muck and mire..." Being a self taught musician and without any formal training or lessons, Bdx knows without a doubt there is a lot more to learn. Seemingly, given his latest rounds of track releases, with the introduction of string sections, piano pieces, bongos, synthesized segments, leads and harmonies into his music, I think it's safe to say Bdx is moving along in pursuing the "lot more" there is to learn. StudioBDX? Indeed.

I wanted to send a shout out to all those that continue to preview the talent in the halls of N!M. Aspiring up and coming artist depends on listeners for a sharing platform. Are there other websites that promote the same? absolutely.
And for the most part, we spread our music throughout the available real estate. But it is here that we find YOU and you find US. So for that, I am grateful.

Greetings. Lately I've been working with other studio musicians that love to rock. the output was decent and LONG. 19 min----11 mins. I've gathered a new set of humans for a more acoustic ode to Jesus sound. If someone finds my IPAD, i really need it. while transferring a mother load of audacity sections.....whammo gone!! grrrr

It's been a while!! new guitars, new sounds....pushing it thru!! thanks to everyone for all your kind words and encouragement. This song tends to be a tad long, but it was a testing run for certain tones and arrangements. If you put the phones on or crank it up and kick back and just listen good...........I think you'll appreciate the song.
thanks!!
