Keith Ayers

Guitarist

Keith is the newest member of Stratify and in addition to being an awesome guitar player, he is an excellent vocalist who's voice you will hear on our upcoming CD. We are excited about this new addition!

Garry Jones

Saxophonist

After a 2 year absence due to family tragedy, we are ecstatic to welcome back the original sax player and co-founder of Stratify Mr. Garry Jones.

Tam Sugayan

Percussionist

Tam is the newest addition to Stratify. Performing with the legendary band Malo and Willie K, Tam is highly regarded in the industry and brings a flair to the band that blends perfectly with the Stratify sound.

Christian Manzana

Trombonist

Christian has been playing bone for 15 years and his cover of "Happy Feelings" by legendary trombonist Jeff Bradshaw is powerful and sexy.

Bill Smolik

Trumpeter

Bill is one of the original members of the band and the leader of the horn section. His smooth demeanor fools audiences until he blows his horn. Playing flugelhorn and trumpet, he does some great Rick Braun covers.

Karen "KB" Bance

Vocalist

When KB sings the band adds an element that transitions quite nicely from the funk to the smooth. Her cover of "Brazilian Love Affair", in addition to background vocals and percussion are vital to the Stratify sound.

Robert Bance

Keyboardist

Robert is the musical brains of Stratify. His creativity and love for the legendary George Duke, give Stratify the edge you hear in their music. Their signature rendition of "I Can't Go For That", delights the crowd as Robert comes from behind the "mothership", and breaks out his keytar. Epic funk!

Michael MJ Jackson

Drummer

MJ is the newest member of the band with a funky backbeat and solid groove. MJ has 25 plus years of performing under his belt and in addition to Stratify, he is the drummer for the funk/R&B band Touch of Class.

Doc Robinson

Bassist

In addition to being the bass player, Doc is the leader of the band. He has been a Bay Area staple in the music industry for over 30 years as a lead vocalist and frontman, drummer and guitar player. This project has always been a life long dream and it has finally come to fruition. Doc says "Stratify is not your typical contemporary jazz band. We're fun, funny and funky. Our shows consist of great music a lot of laughs and great crowd rapport. That was my vision and I am grateful to have like minded players".
