Great Punk and Dance Music

Great punk. Great dance music. His own original take on David Bowie. I like the lyrics; they're socially appealing. You can drift in your own mind and place with this composition, which is important for an audience. Very nicely done. Good for clubs and DJ's. This would be a great vinyl to play with. I'm swaying with the music now. I think listed in dance under progressive music would work because he's willing to take chances with his music, bordering him outside of alternative. I rank him high in originality.

Great! David Bowie lives!

Cool! I love the Erie sounding. Synth. It reminds me of the early 80s. The vocals are reminiscent of David Bowie. Normally, I would say 5 minutes is very long for a song but in this case I wanted to hear more.

Primordial futuristic sounds

Helpful

I have a feeling for electronical compostions. Best conditions to write something about this song. This unconventional recording puts one into a cosmos of various syntheziser sounds creating immediately a futuristic atmosphere. The lyrics come from the soul and the chorus makes the meaning of the song engaging for me. The singer has a varied pitch vocal projection. The drums forcing the music constantly on a higher level. A crunchy e-guitar is an extra factor in the backround. The song is a great mixture of eightie´s Britt-Pop with effects in style of music of the nineties with electronic textures and persistent beat. The music is more creative than some others. A really impressive song of very talented musicians. I´m sure, you will also enjoy what you hear and like to add. Let others know your recommendation.

In MY Opinion

Greetings, Thank you for choosing me to review your work, I count it an honor to be included in such a task. My hat is off to you and anyone willing to step out and share their gift, talent and love of music to the public. Be it a musician, singer, song writer, actor and so-on. I myself, via 40 some years of experience in the fields, on the road, in the studio, radio, TV, video, and management, consider myself to be a seasoned musician, singer, song writer, studio-sound tech/engineer/ owner/operator, stage manager, find it sometimes hard/difficult and perhaps not even fair to sit in a seat, voicing My Opinion concerning another's creative efforts. Especially in certain genres of music I am not all that familiar with concerning very important elements that make up and meet the required standards to justify the various levels of ratings and grades. So, in saying ALL that, I will limit myself to MY Opinion concerning the quality of the work according to My ears, and the standards I have been familiarized with thru-out the years. I hold to the old - saying " Beauty Is In The EAR of The Beholder ... LOL. The sound quality of the recording over-all is very crisp and bright and clear, I really enjoyed the keyboard work and energy thru-out the song. Vocals are smooth and natural but seem dry and flat until the near end of the song. A slight touch of some sort of process on vocals would go nice with this arrangement. The mix levels let me know who was still in charge of this song. Very easy to sit back and listen to. I mean no offense in any part, I myself take all feedback and use it as a tool toward my next project. I pray you feel the same way. Either way, I say to you, keep doing what you do, keep kicking and enjoying what you do. I tell folks all the time for many years. When it stops being FUN, then it's time to stop, and stand back and think about what we are doing, why we are doing it, how we are doing it, what we and others are getting out it. Is it what we want, and how we want it. IF NOT. what are willing to do from there? Thank you again for asking MY OPINION. Johnny

Psychedelic Gloucester

'I never wanted to fall in Love again' is a sentence that many of us have, perhaps, entertained. In this case it's the title of a new song from Lost Spider Stephen Lester who come from Gloucester. The song is a mixture of lots of styles and a rich multi-layered carpet of sounds that have something old synth era about them, with touches of Bowie sounding vocals. I like it and there's lots more to be heard from a man who says he's woken up again. Good for us.

OK, thrill me.

Or cut me down. I like the dark approach on this cut. It doesn't need a lot behind it because the feeling is out there out the gate. I have a lot of respect for that kind of poetry. The music actually supports this feel quite strongly. Great work!.

Unique

Cool music guys, definitely reminds me of Bowie, Interpol combo. Unique voice and song arranagment. I can feel that you guys are into the music that you are making. I also feel like I’m in space when listening to it. Great job interesting lyrics and melancholy type of feel you have going here. Falling in love can be risky business, but this occurrence continues to happen and is a wonderful thing. Keep it up guys

crossing over

This reminds me of a time of early Bowie and synthesiser bands. Overall has a great feel , the key lines are a little suffocating to the piece in general but the song has great basis for better things I think it needs some more work in regards to the format of the song say not so much music in between the verses/choruses, but not to bad at all

dark hard edge Nu Wav reissuance with a dash of Bowie

Its like dark hard edge Nu Wav reissuance with a dash of Bowie. I like tone and atmosphere of this song its very spacey and sci-fi sounding. Its real easy to listen to as well. Theirs not much negative things I can say about this song The production might need some improvement but that's with every song & everybody in general including myself . I give this track a 4 out of Five

I Never wanted to fall in love again

I Never wanted to fall in love again by Lost Spider, hits all the right buttons, keys, and strings! A nice 80’s Dark Dance tune rocking an off Broadway stage show. The vocals are hold me attention, and the beat both pounds me Well make me want to move my feet. I think the main synthesizer was just a bit too loud, And little bit too repetitive for a five minute song. Thank God the lyrics and vocals allowed me to hang in there for the full length of the song. 4.9 Stars on the one! It rocks!

My Review

I like it sounds very professional It brings back memories to known groups; not because it sounds like a copy but it sounds like several groups of which it brings me references, that's what I mean by very professional! Congratulations!!

A new electropop

Helpful

The sound of this song is very electro-pop, as in the far 80s music, but there's something to new in the use of the voice. The rhythm is modern, so it reminds the rock ballad, with an acid groove.

Moody and grey. Peter Murphy inspired? Vocals during the chorus are a nice counterpoint to the stark vocals during the verse. Vocal effect during the verse is a bit off-putting for me, particularly near the end.
