Did you see the Solar Eclipse in North America, in person or via the Internet?
In California it was less than 50 per cent but was still amazing to see with the
proper ISO certified solar glasses. You could even see it on the ground through the leaves on a tree if you were lucky, witnessing multiple images of the eclipse.
Have recorded a new piano tune today: 'Silly Fingers!' Hope you can get out in the
Sun, or under the Moon, and sing or dance and play on. It's still a Beautiful World!

Earth is spinning over 1K miles (or 1609.344 kilometers) an hour on its axis.
And it circles the Sun even faster... And our Sun circles the Milky Way fast!
Don't know about you, but this all makes me feel a bit dizzy now... Holy cow!
Hope your Leap Day & Leap Year are leaping like a frog into Happier Times.

The new piano vocal 'We've Got Places to Go!' was inspired by a documentary film on Dr. Seuss (AKA Theodore Geisel) whose books you may well know of.
The photo here is of astronomers at Yerkes Observatory. Many are women who are very good at mathematics. Music is also mathematical in many ways... The frequencies of a piano or a guitar or electronic synthesizer, etc. And the human voice as well. Your voice can also be your words, your thoughts. Every human thing ever made was first a human idea or thought. Think amazing things. Yes!

Is Christmas your favorite time of year? It's been my favorite since childhood.
The decorated trees, the Holiday displays outside people's homes, the songs on the radio. Cards in the mail, the special cookies, eggnog and more. Oh, yes!

Last year was a tough year for me. This year is bad for many in the news.
In 2022 I lost a feline friend and then my mom. I still grieve for them now.
But no matter what happens to us, individually or as part of a group,
one day we will Laugh again... Love again... and Live again. Let it Be!
Before the Pandemic, I rarely said 'God Bless You!' to anyone.
I say that every day, sometimes to complete strangers I meet.
God Bless every one of you here, seeing this post. Be well!

What is your Dream? Your one thing that makes you Happy. Your 'Bliss'.
I love Music. Hearing it, playing it, recording my own songs & tunes.
Sharing the music with You! I also love animals and nature, and space.
As a kid I dreamed of being an astronaut. Now I just 'Fly' in my music.
I began playing the piano as a boy, then started on the guitar at age 15.
Soon started writing my own songs a few years later. Been going since.
Sometimes I wake up from sleep with lyrics or a tune in my head. Other
times just pick up the guitar or ukulele or sit at the piano and it comes.
Anyways, am so grateful for every one of you on here. You are Amazing!
Have dozens of new songs, taking my time to record them one by one.

Hello and a Million Thank-Yous! to my latest subscribers here, from Chile, Columbia, Sweden, and my first one from Russia last month. Glad to have you on the Star Folker starship of Music & Dreams... Most of you may have heard of Project SETI - the Search for Intelligent signals from space. I was thinking of that recently and this thought came: "Why aren't we looking at intelligent thinking creatures on Earth more?" Dolphins and whales... Horses... Elephants... Cat & Dogs. They all are sentient beings. They just do not speak English. Maybe the new AI technology will at last help us humans understand our fellow beings on this little blue marble? I sure hope so. Just want to know what my cats are thinking, besides 'Feed Me!' Best to you...

First up here now is a 'Redux' of a ukulele tune: 'Felicette'. Maybe you knew about 'Laika' the first Dog in Space? Sometime later a cat was sent into orbit: Felicette.
She was returned safely to the Earth. She was a French cat and 'Cat-O-Naut'.
I named my newest collection of songs/tunes 'Brave Animals' for Laika, Felicette, and all the creatures that have helped us and loved us. Never forget them ever.
I'm an advocate for all of the animals, domestic and wild. Love them all...
Protect them for the Future. They deserve that... And our kindness too!
