You're Not Alone

In these critical times hard to deal with, there are so many things that can cause anxiety, emotional stress and distress. We have the everyday things that we all must deal with. For example, all of us have to work hard to provide for ourselves and / or our families. The regular essentials, though necessary, aren’t always easy to come by. In addition we have our own ailments and frailties from a health standpoint that may not be emergent but are concerning enough to demand our attention. And what about us who act as caregivers for our loved ones? If this is any of you, you deserve a huge thank you… Yes, thank you for loving your family member enough to step in and show that love when they need it most. But it is not easy. Please remember to take time for yourself. And what about if you are struggling just to survive, maybe you are like so many others who are existing instead of living, surviving instead of thriving. And what if you, just like me, have recently lost someone so very dear to you that it hurts to open your eyes from a bad dream to only find a worse reality. These are very real concerns and affect us all differently. And then, to add insult to injury, here comes something new out seemingly from nowhere to cause distress and uncertainty to all of us. And then, when you add to this the thought that you may feel you are the only one dealing with this. Yes, you may feel lonely. You may feel like there is no one who sees you. No one who understands what you are going through. You may feel like you are all alone. You’re not! I see you… I understand the hopeless feelings that sometimes surround us. I understand that sometimes there feels like there is a shadow following you. And sometimes that shadow feels so overwhelming that it seems to block all of the good from shining through. I understand that it’s hard to get out of bed, let alone, put one foot in front of the other. But I am here to tell you… You’re Not Alone.. Please keep going. Don’t give up. Listen to this song entitled “You’re Not Alone” and feel the beet marching in the background. That beat is designed to feel like a bounce to energize you and to keep you moving. I hope you enjoy it.
