"In the Name of" Neo Classic Metal Crunch

Helpful

So many different influences in this piece of work, ranging across centuries of musical genres. These guys are putting together a blend of classical techniques, writing and arrangements, using post-metal riffs between Black Sabbath, Motorhead, Led-Zeppelin, and it is all done with a tasteful and accommodating production quality. That is not to say these are copycats, not at all! These guys have their own brand of music, and I am sure will have a bountiful future writing, performing and recording.

SPYBORG nails "In the Name of"

Helpful

First off, "In the Name of," by Rage Against the Machine, is a powerful song mostly because of the lyrics. As an instrumental, it is still powerful and it rocks! SPYBORG did an exceptional job with the arrangement of this song. I really like the strings and the added percussion. The little jazz section added a really nice flavor. The musicianship is superb. The violinist is really good on this track. The recording and mix down sound solid. Can't wait to hear more of your recordings.

Well done, very well done indeed. As a fan of Two Cellos I am instantly intrigued. However, it was the name and image that caught my attention. I was interested and couldn't pass it by. I'm glad I didn't. This is a fantastic rendition of Killing In The Name Of. As someone who is not a fan of cover songs this was worth the listen, I will be seeking more in the future.

Unique and original

You guys sure are one of a kind! I like how you bring a heavy rock thing into the orchestral realm here. The songwriting is unique and even unusual I think. But still accessible and listenable. I liked how their was a bit of classical violin styled duet about 60% of the way through or so. Then back into it. Great stuff as aways.

Another fine piece of work

Another fine piece of work. Dramatic, exciting and fun. As ever the musicianship is awesome and passionate. The guys clearly love what they do. Production is superb and the mix of classical music and rock is as good as it gets. I really cannot fault this. I would buy an album by this band tomorrow. Its about time you gave us one people, c'mon get on with we're waiting :)

SpyBorg is killing it

this is a classic Rage Against the Machine song and Spyborg made a killer cover of it. This is like Apocalyptica meets Metallica's S&M. I love it people make symphony covers of songs. It takes the song to a whole other level. This has great production value. If you like Symphony rock or Symphony covers or if your a Rage Against the Machine fan I would strongly recommend taking the time to listen to this group and this track.

Very nicely done with the varied instruments........this is catchy. Nothing to be ashamed of here. Great job guys.

F*** you, I won't do what ya told me

I was never a great fan of this track, nor of Public Enemy But, this track grew on me when I started to play it live in a cover band I used to have. And even though i'm still not a fan of Public Enemy, the energy of playing this live was unbelievable. But, enough of me. Not being a fan I opened the link expecting the worst! Rarelly versions even do justice to the original... And then I was hooked and surprised and started headbangind and singing "f*** you, i won't do..." and as I work in an openspace the faces of poeple around was odd... ...but as i'm in Portugal, we can still say "f***" without a problem! Excelent take on this track. congrats :)

Great Cover Guys! But the best think for me is - this is not just a cover of Rage Against the Machine - your interpretation has a lot of great and new ideas: there are nice solos instead of the voice; a lot of psychedelic sounds and a gorgeous middle part with polyphonic lines. I think this is very good song for experimental improvisations! Also You make the main riff very groovy... and you work with a lot of knowledge! Well Done!

I like how the drums and guitar are playing, they sound aggressive and strong. Combination of ROCK and Classical music really makes this instrumental stand apart from many other tunes out there. Keep up the good work.
