About PHILIGAN
I am a folk song writer... Mmmm... Folk... Yes, well at least that's why some people say my music sounds like. But if I had to describe it or give it a name... I would be lost for nouns and adjectives. I never knew what to write on my business cards. All I know is that I've been at it for more than 40 years. So let your imagination flow, feel free to call it whatever it feels like to you. I need a bit of help on that one.
My musical influence?... Paul Brady, Gabriel Yacoub, Christy Moore, Freddie White, Mary Black, Luka Bloom, Eric Bibb, Ange, Malicorne for the most well known artists. And then, there is also my next door neighbour, Anne, she has such a beautiful voice.
