Ok well i grew in a Christian home.... so gospels was always playing in the morning... but I could always remember my father playing earth wind and fire... and I was always intrigued by it but never said I wanted to sing. Just knew i like the music but my older brother miko and older cousin vito... kinda put music Rap and RnB around me. Being young i was just trying be like them.... So I mocked everything they did...
I remember when my brother let me listen to E 1999 from Bone thug n harmony. It was like i knife what they were saying even though i was so young.
From there i gravitated towards cash money , no limit and ruff Ryders.
But it was grade 6 when my grandmother paated away... and I was trying my hardest not ti cry and Vito told me to Rap in your head so u dont feel the pain
N i did. But then it was just a hobby... joking around with friend i would casually bust out in freestyle
Need more. My style of rap is southern but Cultured. For me listening to music helps me let go of certain problems puts me in a state of freedom and clarity
