I have been busy working on more new songs, and was honored to have been in the Finals of the KICMA Awards in Nashville this year for Songwriter of the year, even though I did not win the Award I was honored to have made it into the Final top 5 to where the winner was chosen! "Daddy I'm Right Here" my latest song sung by Sandi Kight is a song that I think every parent should listen to. It tells a story about how our busy lives affect our children. With the fast pace life we all seem to be living our children are being pushed aside, not intentionally, because we all have to work, but we all can take a few minutes out of our day to ask our children, "How was your day" and truly listen, and respond. This is called Love.. Spending time with our children as they are growing up and showing them how much their lives matter to us is the greatest gift we can give them. Believe me they will remember, and if you should not take the time for them, they will remember that too, and most children will blame themselves and wonder why daddy or mommy didn't spend time with them, was it their fault? At a young age they don't understand. So give your children the best gift of all "A little of YOUR time." So please listen to this song, it may make you think twice the next time you walk through that door past your son or daughter...
