Chaos Theory review

This is again an amazing song you have written here. The guitar work is exceptional and the use of harmonies is very effective. I found myself getting lost in the flash of the playing. You have created a powerful collection of songs that I have been reviewing and I really can't find anything to suggest to you to improve on. I hope you have been having success with your music because you definitely deserve recognition. Good luck moving forward and keep on playing!

Great track

I can hear vocals for this track. the instrumental has a great driving tune taking the imagination to other realms. It also reveals the chaotic manic society we are all under. It reveals a need to change and I notice the fast and slow moods in your track as if its telling a story through the music. Keep at it. the lead guitasrs great. Best of luck in your future projects. Reminds me a bit of Van Halen.

...chaos

Very nice composition - very well performed and very well produced - For a instrumental composition the music style is kind of special - sophisticated Rock - Solo instrument, guitar with a special sound is very well suited with arrangement which is well played and in harmony with a solo - In my opinion this composition have all attributes to be promoted internationally - So go for it - This is great work - Keep on and do more of this fantastic music - Thank you I enjoy...

another trip down shred lane

This song tends to truly evoke prior guitar Gods in a blend of McAlpine and Satriani in a most enjoyable way. The use of not only rapid finger tapping technique as well as generous helpings of dive bar Whammy help to create a an almost middle eastern flair to the music, while the drums and keyboards provide a nicely countered balance to the background. Drums were very energetic while the keys were almost lilting. The other nice counter was the bass line in this song was very pronounced and laid an intrinsic feel and floor with a nice almost Billy Sheehan Growl to it. Awesome!

Good song I just couldn’t get into the video

Chaos theory is interesting instrumental with interesting bass lines and guitar leads. The rhythm section in this song is superb. As for the video there was some cool shots in it. Please take no offense but I’m just personally over the over hyped Covid 19 and the over hyped political nonsense. I’ll give a song of four out of five. I think I watch 75% of the music video. 80% of my day consist of doing COVID-19 protocols and hearing people complain about politics. I just couldn’t watch it through its entirety.

Surfing with Eric Larsen.

Cuz I Can't Give You a 6 Star Review.

One of the things I enjoy with Number One Music is the vast variety of artists and performers who DELIVER music that we just aren't having the opportunity to hear anywhere else. Here on Chaos Theory, I am loving the guitars and electronic production in the background. This would be the type of musical production I'd want to lend my voice to! Eric is masterful in production and quality - definitely a replay!

I have been playing blues and rock since the late 60's and have been a fan of any music that is guitar driven. I normally dont seek out instrumental songs but I'm glad I listened to this song by Eric Larsen. Like him I played all the instruments on my recordings and I respect anyone who does this. He does a fantastic job on this song and this song is highly entertaining, tasteful and rocking. The production and engineering are top rate. Great song. Great hooks. Great licks and bass lines.

Really Nice Guitar Instrumental!

Really Nice Guitar Instrumental! Superb guitar work. All of the musicians have excellent timing, synchronicity, and style. One of my favorite guitarist's is Jeff Beck and I hear some of his style in this track. Excellent Drumming, Bass, and Recording. Fine Production. Not overdone. Clean. Definitely worth a listen, or two, or more. I would recommend to crank up your speakers. This is the type of Band's music I would love to see and hear doing a Live Performance. I like this one, a lot. Check it out...

Chaos can be a beautiful thing.

Great musicianship. Nice production. I'm going to start my workout to this song. Upbeat and has a cool driving groove. Guitar work is spot on. It reminds me of a modern day Edgar Winter style jam.

Chaos Theory by Eric Larson - Review

Helpful

Fans of guitar pyrotechnics are going to like this one. Great production values and really tight recording of this instrumental piece keep the listener's attention throughout. This band is tight, and there has been great attention to detail on the production and getting the mix right and the balance pleasing. There are dynamics that evoke emotions. The drumming isn't repetitive . It is creative and solid. The percussion Sounds like they found Rick Allen's other arm. Clearly, the lead guitar is the main feature in this piece. It sounds like I am listening to Jeff Beck from the Blue Wind era, but this is fresher and the rest of the band maintain the pace. I am sure this track will find its audience with a guitar enthusiasts the world over. From hearing this track one would hope that Mr. Larson would bring his group so your town to hear them in person. Musicians and music lovers the world over are itching for the all clear that it is safe to travel and perform once again. Musicians are amongst those making the biggest sacrifices throughout this pandemic. I hope the audience remembers them when the pandemic is over.

a perfect match

The intro to Chaos Theory by Eric Larsen hit me like a bit of random wailing, but then I realized it’s perfect. These instruments are warmed up hot; which is unusual for an introduction. The instruments are so confident in the rhythm of the intro; 64th notes are just another paint brush. When the main song comes in the tempo is a perfect match for what the intro did to my heart rate. Am I right? How can you not like this song? The guitar carries it; blending melody with improvisation like it was nothing. How can an artist anticipate the downbeat like that to create drive? Practice, practice, practice.
