Not the first one from Shepard's Ryde that I am reviewing here, and the basics are as always: Fantastic guitar sounds, fantastic guitar playin', a fantastic production - very well done indeed. With good 6 minutes it is a long one again, and as there's no vocals, no lyrics to follow, the listener's all alone with the pictures that the guitar (or in the best moments: the guitars) creates in his head. This is not for everyone, one has to take the time to sit down and listen, and meanwhile there's billions of people on earth that seem to be lacking this competence and are simply longing for the quick kick within three seconds. So probably the audience for your music is limited in number, but I don't think that should be a loss for you. I am still in the crowd and let the pictures come. Brilliant.

Solo strumentale ma ha qualcosa di m⁰agico e anche un bel giro cdiaccordi e il chitarrisra si può sbizzarrire con lo strumento e bellecosedi arrangiamento ed è strumentale ma consiglio di cercare di fare un pezzo anche inventato con un motivo che.puo piacere a tutti ed ha un senso però quello che sento non è male ma si sente la passione e il piacere di suonare e così ci sidiverte

Event Horizon is another piece of work highlighting Shepard’s Ryde’s outstanding mastery of the Guitar. Yes, there are some other instruments, drums and a piano seem to gently keep the rhythm, and the changes are pleasing. In this song Shepherd’s Ryde has once again become one with the guitar. Instrument and human become one, to produce music from the heart. Don’t let the rhythm distract you, it’s constant and doesn’t change tempo, but the upbeat accents make the drums seem like they have their own message. It’s the same message, different voices. I recommend enjoying this work, but also studying it. Imagine if you could coax an instrument to play anything your mind can come up with; the first time. Study it hard.
