The band was founded in September 2004,. First two members - Michael –vocals & bass, Alon Lazarovich - drums tried to perform grunge-alternative rock as a duo - drums and bass only. However 2 months later Arkady Scherba (keyboards) was added and the band became a trio! First we thought to call him "Stockholm syndrome", but we don't touch this theme directly. So... we confused. I just give you names of all 6 songs and wait for your suggestion.

4. Our keyboardist Arkady completely and finally left the band due to his health condition. It's sad. But he virtually plays with us from prerecorded parts player.

We happy to inform you, that we approaching to issue a new album "On the Ride". Of course - this name full of self-irony, because we ran into a lot of difficulties with this album:
1. Limited budget and spartan style 6-hour live rhythm section recording on the 16-channel track tape.
2. Guitar overdubs at home and as a gift - a wonderful re-recording of vocals in Mikhail Karasev studio.
3. Then the epic saga began with the mix. After 3 years of mixing (yes 3 years), we managed to end up few songs without the Mixman (probably he gone crazy).
4. After this we dropped out one song from the album that did not fit into the concept and released it as a separate single. (In album we added it as Bonus track)
5. Then we recorded 2 new songs instead and buried ourselves in the mix again. And then...
6. Our frontman's mother died ... This unsettled him down for almost a two years
7. Then, our the drummer left not only the band but music generally and finally…
8. F%ckin' Pandemic! But oddly enough – this thing interrupted our concerts and other plans, but allowed us to concentrate on the album, which we did.
The band emerged from all the challenges with a new drummer Boris (Mahoni) Litvar and Shadow Rebels are "On the ride" again!
So, soon... "Metal-scrap-Records" alternative district "Anotherside-Records" will present "On the ride" by Shadow Rebels.

About Shadow Rebels
The band was founded in September 2004,. First two members - Michael –vocals & bass, Alon Lazarovich - drums tried to perform grunge-alternative rock as a duo - drums and bass only. However 2 months later Arkady Scherba (keyboards) was added and the band became a trio! In February of 2005 Shadow Rebels recorded first Demo with 3 songs recorded live and 2 more songs recorded with drum plug-ins. Unfortunately on 17th of April 2005, Alon leaves the band due to immigration to New Zeland and a new member - Orian Cnafeau becomes band’s permanent drummer. Till 2009's break-up this trio never changed the line-up. In these 4 years Shadow Rebels recorded 2 albums, shot a few video-clips, performed in a lot of festivals and rock-concerts in clubs all over Israel. In the middle of April 2009 Orian decided to leave the band due to Arkady's problems with depression and antidepresants and Shadow Rebels went on an indefinite hiatus.
4 years later in the same month of April Michael announced a Reunion. Right now a 3rd album is in last stages of production. Michael’s best friend - Shura Petrenko (guitar player and composer from Kiev, Ukraine) wrote a lot of material (as always) for the new album, but this time he even recorded rhythm guitar lines. Michael took his part as bass and keyboards player, recorded all live violins, sitar and vocals. New drummer - Stalik Istaharov recorded drums. For complete guitar lines - mostly solo-parts and for live performances new guitar player was included - Rony Safaraliev.
July,1 of 2015 Shadow Rebels signed with worldwide Label Metalscrap Records.
"Oversleep hurricane" was promoted during first Europian Tour of Shadow Rebels in Serbia and Ukraine.
In 2019 band released the new single - "47".
In 2020 May 25 drummer Staluj Istaharov leftthe band and from december 2020 new drummer Boris "Mahoni" Litvar took his dutes. Keyboard player and one of band formers Arkady Scherba joined to band as session player in 2017 December and now he is permanent band member. 2021 we just released of our new album recorded with old drummer during 2016-2020 years "On the ride"! You can find it on all digital platforms and on CD all over the world. In 2021 we released digital single for support of people of Ukraine. After a lot of discussions in the band we decided to free our Arkady from permanent keyboards duties due to his health condition...
New songs, new studio material with new drummer. 9.12.2022 NEW digital EP "Liquid" with 2 songs - Water Spirit and Cry released at Anotherside-records.
In March-April of 2023 the band moved into journey together with Strident band to European tour in Czech, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria - it's was great success - the band played 7 gigs and 2 of them on festivals and earned a lot of new funs in eastern Europe.
In 2023 after returning from the Tour band released new single Tomorrow on Distrokid Label and soon will be released rerecorded single Deepest gloom. Shadow Rebels full of new inspirations and perspectives.
