We're happy to announce that our new album "Deja vu" is in a positive progression. The last weeks, our tracks were mixed and mastered by Grammy award winner producer / engineer Rich Breen. He also did artists and groups like Pat Metheny, The Yellowjackets, Seth McFarlane and many more. Check out his website: (expired link)
We are very happy about the mixes. Rich has a beautiful way of making songs sound open, tight and transparant. At this moment, Rich is mastering the songs so they are ready for cd pressing and online release.
We're not sure how we're gonna release the new album. Probably, we'll do some single releases via online distribution platforms like Spotify and Youtube first.
Fall 2020, that will be the moment that we will release the whole album. Hopefully, we're able to do some release concerts. We'll see what possibilities there will be according to all covid-19 measurements at that time!

Thanks for all the kind messages you are sending to us. It's a strange time in this whole corona circus and we wanna give you a little positive distraction.
We are happy and even proud to announce that our new album will be mixed and mastered by Grammy Award winner producer / engineer Rich Breen. Rich worked with a lot of famous bands and artists, such like The Yellowjackets, Seth McFarlane, Ivan Lins and many, many more!
In November of 2019 we did some recording concerts where we recorded the tunes of our new album.
The releasedate we hope for is October 2020.

In November 2019, we had a fantastisc mini-tour of three concerts in The Netherlands. During this tour, we recorded new songs which will be released this year. When? We don't know, but we hope before the summer.
So our new album will be a live album. All of us brought 2 songs in and we so much joy in developing the songs and play them in a live setting. We are now in the proces of listening and decide which recording of a song we will take.

We're in preparation for our coming concert which will be at the 7th of December in De Meerpaal in Dronten (NL). And it's all about Christmas! We're playing these familiar Christmas songs in a jazzfusion way. You'll find some of these tunes here on our N1M page, like "Silent night".

About Seraph
Seraph is a jazzrock / fusionband from the Netherlands. The band made 3 CDs. The last one is released in December 2013 and is called "Behind the scenes". Seraph was established in 1994 by Marcel Zimmer, Eric Lagerstrom, Dave Sahanaja, and Elisa Krijgsman. The band started in a tv-talkshow and has been developing ever since.
Their first CD, titled ‘Tales of the unexpected was brought out in 1996 by Ecovata Record Company (NL). This album consists of ten of their own compositions, with the saxophonist Tom Beek as a guest musician. Eric Lagerstrom (keys) left the band in 1997. Dennis Tielkes took his place.
Some musicians such as Marcel Zimmer and Elisa Krijgsman more frequently occupied themselves with producing CD's, creating a possibility for the musicians to ‘jam’ together in spare time between productions. In fact, life was blown into Seraph again with the addition of musicians Mark Dekkers on bass guitar, and pianist/ saxophonist Christan Grotenbreg. This resulted in a new album release in 2005 titled ' Proskuneo '.
Eight years after 'Proskuneo', Seraph released their 3rd album titled “Behind the scenes. Christan Grotenbreg has left the band and Sjoerd Visser replaced him on saxophone. This album contains ten of their own composition again. And in 2016 Carlos Matos replaced Dennis Tielkes on the keyboards.
In 2021, they released their 4th album called "Déja vú". This is a live recording of a tour that they did in 2019.
