JOURNEY: a compilation of selected poems by Eddison Baptiste The poems of Journey are snapshots of one section of a Soul’s experience with all its trials and tribulations as perceived through the consciousness of Eddison Baptiste. The first section is more like an innocent child that has learned that it is an independent being but does not really know what that means. In the second section, Eddison’s awareness grows but so does the tripulant currents of life around him producing extreme emotions. In the third section, there is more resolution and revolutions regarding the purpose of life, along with a deep knowingness that the journey never stops.
