Abiding Love

So many wonderful memories, many of which I experienced also on my travels. This song comes with a message of truth that brings to me solace as I listen to this song. I love the gently 70's resonance in this one. Convincing of the true love of Christ Jesus. I like the bridge of Abiding Love...Very memorable and heartwarming. The instrumental reflects this tone and the notes ring out the power in this truth, the abiding love of Christ. The percussion is very gentle and keeps me focused on the lyrics not detracting but adding to the gentle witness of this message. "In Christ I trust" is the perfect way to end the song. You have a voice that is like the Medieval Psalmist's not too intrusive, gentle but effective in bringing joy which is established by your calm reassuring lyrics.

A bit long

This is a good song and the mix was classic. I like the lyrics and the concept of the song as well. The things that stuck out to me was the feel of the music kind of conflicts the genre and the lyrics and because of that it makes the song seem a bit long. Usually the music for your genre would be spunky, uptempo, catchy, and live. This music was more along the style of worship, calm, reassuring, and mellow while the lyrics was uplifting, upbeat, and live so it kind of threw me off a bit. It's still a good song and it's structure from a songwriter's view was great, but i feel like the lyrics belong on another instrumental, I think you have 2 songs in one. Don't take to heart my observation and get discouraged because you are the creator of this composition and if you're happy with it then push it. Keep growing in your music, it's a never ending story.

Review of Abiding Love by Scribe and Saige submitted by Gary Clark

Nice and smooth melody in this piece. You packwd a tremendous amount of imagws in your verses. You lainted a vivid picture of one who has seen much in pursuit of findingng love and fulfillment, only to discover that nothing measures up to the abiding love of Christ. Well done. I was with you on the chorus until it dipped back down. I was anticipating that it would build to a climax moving up to an exclamation point. But that is just my expectation. Your bridge was morw of a complete package and your guitar work was in sync with the style and never deteactes from you message. Nice work. You have been writing and playing foe some time it would seem. Keep going, Gary

Abiding Love - Review

When I listen to review songs I look at the layout of the song and ask questions such as, does the song have a bridge?, how many versus does the song have?, is there a pre-chorus? Does the song have a nice catchy chorus (or hook), does the song have a Coda? and how long is the song? All of these questions go along with the instrumental pieces and the vocals to combine for a well written complete song. I listened to this song and these are my thoughts and hopefully they help. Instrumentally and vocally this song is very well put together. The layout is nice. It includes all the main structural elements of a well put together musical composition. My only critic I would submit is that this song is a little too long. The normal attention span for most listeners is between 3 to 4 minutes. However, with that being said. I think you have the instrumental, vocal, and structure of a well put together song. Keep up the good work and may God bless your musical ministry!!!
