The main occupation of Roger Lapointe is running an International Booking agency called Booking House Inc. BHI in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada next to Toronto. (expired link) The company has booked live entertainment with corporate clients such as Disney World, the Canadian and US Governments, Paramount Canada’s Wonderland, Coca-Cola, The Calgary Stampede and others throughout North America, Europe and Asia. (50 Countries) He has also performed world-wide, before audiences of up to 50,000 people as lead singer and drummer of “Hotel California” the Premiere tribute to The Eagles. (1989-2008)

Since the young age of 13, Canadian musician/singer/songwriter Roger Lapointe has been involved in music in one form or another. In the mid 80s, while completing a Degree at Freed Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee, Roger toured the US with a group called Phoenix with Carl Bell who would eventually become the lead guitar player and songwriter of the band Fuel. Roger also fronted a recording act called Non Stop which later changed their name to Sahara. The band had some local success with songs such as “Hearts on the Line” and “Stay with Me”. The songs were written by Gregg Fulkerson the band’s brilliant songwriter, guitar extraordinaire and pianist! Gregg sadly passed away April 14, 09. You just need to google Gregg to see how loved he was worldwide! Due to bureaucratique complications at the border, the band had to go on without Roger as lead vocalist! The group went on to changed their name to become Blue Tears and charted nationally with “Rockin’ With the Radio”. It was Gregg who inspired Roger to become a songwriter! Roger composed and sang, "Go on and Dream" selected #1 song on the EMC 1992 Best compilations CD out of 500 songwriters of unsigned artists in the US he went on to write many more songs... hence “Handle With Care” the CD!

The Handle With Care CD is for all of you who like to travel back in time to a musical era when in North America the AOR stations ruled the air waves.
