How your song begins makes everyone sit up and take notice. Bravo! Love the energy of the track, the positive lyrics and the hook works. A different dance track. The guitar is really cool with the track in general. Great vocals and driving rhythm. I absolutely LOVE this track. Well done!

Great song /decent production

There’s nothing much I can say negatively because I like it. It’s so evocative of the great pop songs of the past. I liked how you used your voice at the beginning of the song: a bit softer and breathy and I loved the way the guitar and drums came in lifting it into the delightfully crafted stratosphere of a pure pop song! It made me feel good. Great job!

Great Message

This song is another song with a great positive message from Rick Whittell. The arrangement is upbeat and probably danceable and the lyrics are inspirational and motivational. This is the kind of song our kids need to be listening to, but it's a great reminder for everybody.

Rick whittell -Go

I listened to your song Rick whittell, I found it had a Nice easy going melody and beat. Good building up along the melody, the lyrics are good. I can hear your vocals easily and the music doesn't over power you. Well done.

upbeat and hopeful

Get up and dance to this song. It's full of inspiration for doing whatever you have to do to get off your butt and take the bull by the horns and start checking things off your bucket list. Mr. Whittell has a catchy hook here, and has filled it in beautifully with some tasty acoustic guitar licks and lovely harmonies. Certainly an interesting departure from church ballads. Help yourself first and then you can help others. Such a great message!

I really like this song! It's recorded very well and I love the lyrics. What inspiration... I feel you really put the right combination of instrumentation together to give you a solid, light platform to relay your positive message to your listeners. It has a very retro '80's club feel to it. Good reverb, nice synth pads, and the acoustic guitar is perfect. I actually listened to it twice, just to absorb your energy in it. All I can say is I hope you are writing many songs this good in your library. Keep doing what you're doing and enjoy the ride!

Go for it!

What a nice upbeat tune with capable accompaniment, to pull of this well intended message in such a joyful manner. The type of song I wish I could write, a feelgood, enjoyable few minutes, that can have a lasting positive effect on listeners who have a variety of favorite genres. If you don't like this, you're not going to like much. Good performance, well done start to finish.

really interesting dancehall beat ..kinda odd instrumentation at first sorta cheesey electronica . But don't dare judge this song on that alone. Because when the vocal comes in so does this really unusual and very cool guitar starts . The guitar actually makes the song. It slides around the bowiesque vocal.and it works really well because the orchestration also starts to fill out and now it rocks full on dancehall yes.

Catchy pop song

Nice up temp pop song with a very European feel. Very dancey and great for the summer holiday season. Nice acoustic guitar motifs. Vocals are very professional and the harmonies are good. Guitar solo outro is a nice touch.

In MY Opinion

Greetings, Thank you for choosing me to review your work, I count it an honor to be included in such a task. My hat is off to you and anyone willing to step out and share their gift, talent and love of music to the public. Be it a musician, singer, song writer, actor and so-on. I myself, via 40 some years of experience in the fields, on the road, in the studio, radio, TV, video, and management, consider myself to be a seasoned musician, singer, song writer, studio-sound tech/engineer/ owner/operator, stage manager, find it sometimes hard/difficult and perhaps not even fair to sit in a seat, voicing My Opinion concerning another's creative efforts. Especially in certain genres of music I am not all that familiar with concerning very important elements that make up and meet the required standards to justify the various levels of ratings and grades. So, in saying ALL that, I will limit myself to MY Opinion concerning the quality of the work according to My ears, and the standards I have been familiarized with thru-out the years. I hold to the old - saying " Beauty Is In The EAR of The Beholder ... LOL. The sound quality of the recording over-all is very crisp and bright and clear. I really enjoyed the message and energy in this song. Very nice guitar work, so, Think about a music/guitar solo break to step away from vocals in the mid of this work for a short period in future works. Vocals are smooth and natural, sort of - down to earth as they say, and extremely peaceful. The mix levels let me know who was still in charge of this song. Very easy to sit back and listen to. I mean no offense in any part, I myself take all feedback and use it as a tool toward my next project. I pray you feel the same way. Either way, I say to you, keep doing what you do, keep kicking and enjoying what you do. I tell folks all the time for many years. When it stops being FUN, then it's time to stop, and stand back and think about what we are doing, why we are doing it, how we are doing it, what we and others are getting out it. Is it what we want, and how we want it. IF NOT. what are willing to do from there? Thank you again for asking MY OPINION. Johnny

A Lot of Fun

Crisp, clean, professionally done. Nice beat. A bit of commercial in here. Nice vocal with a skip in the beat. Cutting vocals actually. Happy pick up song that you want to have at cookouts and festivals.

Go Go Go

One of the things I enjoy most about Number One Music artists is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here, with this song the song has a great slow build to a traditional pop song, then the electronic piano and guitar are a nice touch along the way. Vocally, the subtle "whisper" of Rick's singing just works here. This could be a song lots of performers sing - and I'd like to be one of them, too. Just a great, fun song. Rare 5* rating from me for your efforts.

A modern '80s groove

The rhythm of this song is interesting and curious, so you desire to listen' all the song. The guitar is very well played in the background, a 80s groove is mixer with a contemporary sound.
