Very new sounding Acoustic Rock
I´m sure you will be surprised. New sound from the composer, guitarrist and songwriter Rick Line. Something between acoustic rock and pop music at his best. Brilliant arranged and played guitars in the whole arrangement. Really virtuous accompaining e-guitar licks like M. Knopfler making this song rich and lively. Also the acoustic guitar in the backround convincing me. The engaging lyrics tells us, that we shouldn't ignore someone, who is lost in the mist. The songtext comes from the heart and touches the soul. Rick performs this with unique vocal making this wonderful composition complete. But why do I tell this? This song has definitely a important message and is more comprehensively than others. All instruments really stand out. This professionel studio recording, influenced by rock, pop and folk, is overall perfect mixed and mastered. The song will be one of my favorites and I´m sure you will like to add him, too. Let others know your recommendation.
"Rick Line...A Thoughtful Songwriter"
Rick Line's song "Someone's Lost In The Mist" is professionally recorded. The instrumentation is well-mixed and well-thought out.. The lead guitar seems to form a duet with Mr. Line's voice which is engaging and complimentary. The lyrical content and rhythm could have been a production mismatch, but here, it works very well! His voice seems to be consistently honest and sincere and his choruses are well-placed and effective, although pleasantly understated. Mr. Line leaves us with an important message: that he can imagine and describe what it's like to br someone "left behind". It shows him to be him a thoughtful songwriter who can put feelings into his very descriptive lyrics. I enjoyed Mr. Line's "Someone's Lost In The Mist", and look forward to hearing more from him!

Found in the Midst of the Mist!
Hi Rick!! Thanks for sharing this song! I think its really well put together. I like the guitars and the mix overall. I think all of us have a specific sound we're searching for. In my opinion, the melody lines are pretty good, but there are parts of the melody in the verse that are at the bottom of your range and those words get lost. It may be a good idea to add a little extra compression to make sure that those low parts stick out more. You could also use side chain compression to make the instruments duck the vocal so that those parts are more pronounced. Either way that is really the only thing that stuck out in my mind. The song is catchy, the hook is great, and I love the instrumentation. Well done!! - Rashon Medlock

Earthy with great music production
The music production is excellent on this track. Everything about it keeps you engaged from beginning to the end. Good use of music structure, instrumentation and mixing take a great song to a new level.

An ethnic rock
I like your voice, very spontaneous and the light chorus in the background, but the audio is enough low to listen, There's something to ethnic in this song, the sound is original and likely.

Hi my Friend, Thanks for asking you love my opinion on your song. I think the arrangements of guitar, bass and drums are made really well. The music is catchy the Melody of Canto captivating, it wins you over and above all it transmits exactly what you want to express. I like how the guitar sounds and also the female choirs are very homogeneous with singing. The only thing I can tell you is to improve the pitch. You remind me of the singer guitarist Mark Knoplefer of Dire Straits, and since you use very low notes for the performance of the song in certain places it seems that you wind up before finishing the sentence. Doing some exercise to improve the vocal technique would be good for you. For the rest it's ok. Keep it up. Have a great day. Manuel.

In MY Opinion
Greetings, Thank you for choosing me to review your work, I count it an honor to be included in such a task. My hat is off to you and anyone willing to step out and share their gift, talent and love of music to the public. Be it a musician, singer, song writer, actor and so-on. I myself, via 40 some years of experience in the fields, on the road, in the studio, radio, TV, video, and management, consider myself to be a seasoned musician, singer, song writer, studio-sound tech/engineer/ owner/operator, stage manager, find it sometimes hard/difficult and perhaps not even fair to sit in a seat, voicing My Opinion concerning another's creative efforts. Especially in certain genres of music I am not all that familiar with concerning very important elements that make up and meet the required standards to justify the various levels of ratings and grades. So, in saying ALL that, I will limit myself to MY Opinion concerning the quality of the work according to My ears, and the standards I have been familiarized with thru-out the years. I hold to the old - saying " Beauty Is In The EAR of The Beholder ... LOL. The sound quality of the recording over-all is very crisp and bright and clear, I really enjoyed the guitar work.Vocals are smooth and natural. The mix levels let me know who was still in charge of this song. Very easy to sit back and listen to. I mean no offense in any part, I myself take all feedback and use it as a tool toward my next project. I pray you feel the same way. Either way, I say to you, keep doing what you do, keep kicking and enjoying what you do. I tell folks all the time for many years. When it stops being FUN, then it's time to stop, and stand back and think about what we are doing, why we are doing it, how we are doing it, what we and others are getting out it. Is it what we want, and how we want it. IF NOT. what are willing to do from there? Thank you again for asking MY OPINION. Johnny

Rick Line - Someone s lost in the mist - Review by LaSueede
There is a good Guitar that drives the song. Professional recording and mixing. I especially likes the background Guitar picking that follows bothe the verse, bridge and the Chorus. The singing is much better in the Chorus than in the verses. Maybe your Voice is more suitable for little higher tones. Your voice get strained in the extreme low verse but your voice is in tune. The song is good though it is a nice effort and catchy refrain chorus and as i said the bass drums is in floe but the hero for me is the Guitar. Good effort / Blessings and Regards from LaSueede
A for effort... Sincerely original :-)
A for effort... Sincerely original :-) The best part of of original music is the stories that are told. This is an appreciated honest effort to do just that5. Sincere suggestions: Watch pitch on lead Vocals, that's what carries the lyrics to your listeners. I also suggest using a mastering program to bring the story and the Music to life. VERY best regards and Thanks for sharing your Music :-)
