About Richie Hoffman
Everyone has a talent that you are born with. Something that you can do that is far and beyond what is normal. Some people unlock theirs's, and some people don't. I was blessed enough to unlock mine at birth. I was born a songwriter.
I'd like to welcome my new subscribers and say "Hello" to my 2,000 plus friends on my mailing list. I'm sorry to report that a friend of mine has passed away. I'm sure that many of you know him from his old band; The MC5 ("Kick Out The Jams" Elektra records). Wayne Kramer passed away on February 2, 2024. Back in 2017 I pressed a 7" white marble vinyl collectable 45rpm record on my JUST-IN Record Label titled "I Remember" b/w "Come On Babe" Wayne played guitar on the B-side along with David Peel (Apple Records) on background vocals. I never released it (I have over 1,000 copies in my studio) because David Peel passed away while it was being pressed at Rainbow records and I didn't want people to think I was trying to cash in on his death. But I am now offering it, only to my subscribers here at N1M. You can purchase this highly collectable record by contacting JUST-IN Records at: finalvinyl56@link for information on ordering it. There are only about 10 copies floating around (One sold on eBay for $40.00. I have no idea how they got out). The test pressing for this record sold for $50.00 on eBay. The special price for my subscribers is only $10.00 plus $4.50 shipping. I'd be honored to sign the record to you personally. Be the first to own a copy. These special releases are numbered editions that will sell out at 50 copies. Also enclosed with the record is an unreleased photo of David Peel with John Lennon & Yoko Ono and a record company promo flyer with information about the record & photos of myself, Wayne, David & drummer Joe Moro. This limited edition, numbered record will only increase in value as there are only 50 copies of this edition made. And for those of you who do not own a record player, you can order an advanced numbered CD single. The CD has a bonus track that has never been released yet.
Again, I Thank all of you for taken an interest in my music. Richie Hoffman
I would like to wish all my (2,295) subscribers a Happy Holiday & A Great New Year. This will be the year my 3rd LP will be released. And A BIG WELCOME to all my new subscribers!
Read moreIt's been a while since I sent out any new 'happenings.' I've been so busy getting ready to mix my new album and get a band together to play live. But I've got some good news to all of you who asked for some new music from me. It may not be new, recorded and released in 1979, but it will be new to most of you. I will be adding my 2nd single release "Unnatural Woman" & "Seven Years" to my playlist here on N1M.
I added a link to my ReverbNation site. I have not been on it in over a year. I'm trying to build it back up. I hope you can help me do it.
TO ALL MY 2,163 SUBSCRIBERS - PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS MESSAGE WITH AT LEAST AN "OK". Your thoughts would be better. I'm just trying to see how many of my subscribers care enough to say at least "Hi"
It is so important for songwriters and musicians to keep in contact with each other to work together to get our music out to the world.
After all, What Would The World Be Like, Without Music?
PLEASE< PLEASE< PLEASE take a minute to respond. You can here, or at: finalvinyl56@link Thank You So Much, Richie Hoffman
This song was written for you! When I was a teenager back in the 70's (dam I'm that old? lol) I told my good friends that I hung out with that I was going to make a record about them. I don't think they believed me (back then only major record labels made vinyl records). But I kept my word to them and in 1978 I released the song I wrote about them. "High With My Friends" was the B-side of my first 45rpm. I dedicate this song to all of you, who are now my new friends. I want to "Thank All of You" for subscribing to my contact list. As of right now, I have 1,811 who have subscribed to my list and it's growing each and every day. Richie

Thank You so much for taking the time to join my 1,664 friends who have shown interest in my music and joined my subscriber list. I can't believe how many of you are from outside of The United States. That means that my music is playing all over the world.
For those of you who have been with me for some time, I'm sure that you are wondering what's taking me so much time to complete my new album. Well, I wrote all the songs and I play all the instruments and Sing all the songs. Plus I'm producing it in my home studio. This has always been a dream for me. It just goes to show you that, "dreams do come true". I hope to finish the album in the next few months. You will be the first to get some tunes from it.
Again, please bear with me. I do not want to rush on it. And I am truly grateful to have you on my music list! Richie
Just a quick note to say "Thank You" to all my subscribers. It's because of you that my music is being played all over the world. It's so hard for us little-known songwriters to get our music out there but because of you, it does. I'm still working on my new album. It seems like it is taking forever because I am playing all the instruments. Singing all the tracks and producing them in my home studio. It's a dream come true. I will be sharing it soon with you right here on N1M. Again, "Thank You" from the bottom of my heart. ALSO: I am adding my first vinyl single release from way back in 1978 on David Peel's Orange Records. I wrote the song when I was 14 years old. I am now way up in age (where did all the years go?) so please listen to the song knowing that it is a very old release. I added it because it's a Love Song. And I am feeling that Love right now! Richie Hoffman
Read more"Keep In Mind" I have been getting a lot of requests for new music that I have written. My new album is still in the works but I decided to share this song that i wrote for a girl I was seeing many years ago. It's titled "Keep In Mind" (yea, you know it's for you link.). This is a first take (no mix down) unreleased recording that has Joe Moro and Mike Monroe on it (The band FAME). I don't remember when it was recorded, but I'd say it was around 1979 or 1980 So even though it's an old recording, it's new to you. I hope you like it. This is the first time it has ever been offered to the public.
Read moreI just want to "Thank" all my new subscribers. My goal was to reach 1,000 of you. Well, not only did we achieve that number; we passed it by over 300. As of right now I have 1,304
And a big "Thank You" to all my "Not So New" Subscribers.
For the past few days I've been working with another songwriter that is here, on the N1M music site. His name is Greg. I will be posting some new music & photos soon.
Again; "Thanks To All My Subscribers"
Richie
Just a quick note to Thank All My New Subscribers. I now have 1,219 and counting. I can't thank you all enough. You have also made many of my songs hit the #1 spot on many of the N1M music charts. In fact my song; "She Climbs A Vine" has been in the #1 spot for 4 weeks now (Classic Rock) and is also #1 in the USA and #2 Global (I hope to hit #1). Maybe you can help me get there if you have the time. You have all helped me so much. I'm still working on my new album in my new home pro studio. It's a dream come true. Also, I am always available for any session work. If you need any instruments on your recording look me up. Again, Thank You All and uuntil next time! Richie
