Why Do I Feel (So Alone)

Rockin' Solo

Our son, Scot, made a prediction several years ago, that 'the guitar solo will make a comeback'. Looks like Richie Hoffman paid attention, or at least is of the same mind. This song has riffs & breaks & bridges 'for days' which take its message to another level, adding nicely to its impact. Nicely performed and arranged, good to see Rock 'n' Roll in good hands.

Why Do I Feel (So Alone) review

This is a cool blues song that has the drums and guitar lead the way with a witty piano to fill in parts. It also has a nice touch of rock & roll infused into it too. The message is clear but I'd like to hear, perhaps, some ladies singing in the background.

Why Do I Feel( So Alone)

Very nice guitar and bass in the beginning of the song. The piano comes to have a full song...hard and very good to listen to. Love your style. It's a good old school from rock and roll. The arrangements are very good and indeed the guitar solo is great! The hook for the Fade Out is magnific..beautiful Piano again! Congrats for your great song! Aira Winterland

Nice Guitar Work

Right off the bat, the lead guitar comes right at you. The bluesy feel and the driving guitar kept me listening. The vocals were good and the melody was nice, the piano interlude fely like rain and then it brings you right back into the song.

so alone

Good to review this and what a beautiful souyllful entrance into classic blues type of riff from an absolute gifted lead guitarist. Musict admit Id been lulled into just listening along with that introduction, that I wasn't really prepared for the entrance of the vocal which is harder but fitting as the guitar enters a different realm of playing and the vocals take on a range of their own importance, harder, raunchier and expressive in an indulgent but a really expressive shout out that shows the anger of being alone in a world where we should never be allowed to get isolated, nor put into the position of exclusion. Great additional instrumentalism from the driving rhythm of the beating drum and the involvement towards the end of the piano. Great stuff

A LIVE CONCERT FEEL

I feel so alone is a great song. It has a live concert feel and listeners can sit back, close their eyes and imagine a stage filled with musicians playing their hearts out in their own zone. There is a blues feel at moments and a pinch of southern rock, yet has a mellow foundation. The charismatic vocals and chord sequence work well together to make this a song to place on repeat and enjoy.

Nice tune

I really like blues, and I really like this one. Very unique sound very entertaining. Sounds like blues, and soft rock mix. I'm understanding what form that this is coming from. I don't know if everyone feels the same in the band, or this is just one individual feeling. But great music, just wish it had something to do with Love alittle.

Nice message , feels like southern rock.

Helpful

I have been in this business for like 50 years now. Seen a lot done a lot. Recorded ,toured write songs , produce, etc. All this being said, I don't ever want to sound negative about someones art, unless of course it is really ,really bad. Now this is a very nice song well played, and I like what your message is , very universal, and identifiable. My only criticism, is I would have liked the vocal more upfront in the mix. The guitar is very nice , but could be balanced a little better into the mix especially when it is going with the vocal. Now the general feel of the sound reminds me a bit of Lynard Skynard ...which is a good thing , they were a great band that often had really quality messages. Overall the track is successful, and most importantly ( as far as I'm concerned ) is it has a great deal of commercial appeal. good guitar work , good vocals , and a nice message ...all adds up to a winner in my opinion.

In MY Opinion

Greetings, Thank you for choosing me to review your work, I count it an honor to be included in such a task. My hat is off to you and anyone willing to step out and share their gift, talent and love of music to the public. Be it a musician, singer, song writer, actor and so-on. I myself, via 40 some years of experience in the fields, on the road, in the studio, radio, TV, video, and management, consider myself to be a seasoned musician, singer, song writer, studio-sound tech/engineer/ owner/operator, stage manager, find it sometimes hard/difficult and perhaps not even fair to sit in a seat, voicing My Opinion concerning another's creative efforts. Especially in certain genres of music I am not all that familiar with concerning very important elements that make up and meet the required standards to justify the various levels of ratings and grades. So, in saying ALL that, I will limit myself to MY Opinion concerning the quality of the work according to My ears, and the standards I have been familiarized with thru-out the years. I hold to the old - saying " Beauty Is In The EAR of The Beholder ... LOL. The sound quality of the recording over-all is very crisp and bright and clear, I really enjoyed the message and fantastic guitar work in this song. Vocals are smooth and natural, sort of - down to earth as they say, and extremely peaceful. The mix levels let me know who was still in charge of this song. Very easy to sit back and listen to. I mean no offense in any part, I myself take all feedback and use it as a tool toward my next project. I pray you feel the same way. Either way, I say to you, keep doing what you do, keep kicking and enjoying what you do. I tell folks all the time for many years. When it stops being FUN, then it's time to stop, and stand back and think about what we are doing, why we are doing it, how we are doing it, what we and others are getting out it. Is it what we want, and how we want it. IF NOT. what are willing to do from there? Thank you again for asking MY OPINION. Johnny

Indie Rock in great Blues Style

Verly impressive song with atypical ending. The dirty sounding lead guitar brings a deep blues feel into the music. The melancholic passion of the lyrics make the meaning of the song engaging for me. Richie Hoffmann´s vocals bringing the listener into the right mood. Additional instruments like piano, powerfull drums and bass-line carry the song. Perfect recorded and mastered, where all instruments really there, where they should be on a track of this quality. Overall extraordinary mixture of blues and indie rock. Really cool track and there´s obviously more where that came from.

Rock chorus

This song is a rock song, full of electric guitars and hard metal sounds, but there's something to blues in the voices of the members of the band. The chorus makes this song easier to listen.
