this is a very very unusual cut, and also a really good one. the whole idea of this a cappella song slash rap is just right there. i love this. the only criticism i have is in regard to the mix ..... the background vocals should be spread out more to give clarity to the lead voices. sometimes the overlap is confusing , and conflicts with the rhythm. these issues can be corrected with a better mix, because there is nothing wrong with the total performance. actually it's quite excellent , and yes i do know is is very much south african ......great job.

This groovy tune starts out with a zippy drum riff. The vocals come in with lots of echo, very cool. There is also some mellow background oohs & aahs. The message of the tune is 'the world is falling apart and it's our job to fix things.' Cool tune! It's stuck in my brain now, like the best of earworms. See you on Saturday Night Live, Red!

I suppose I should have come along here sooner, to let you know just how much I appreciate you and your music. First of all, your music is so inspiring. The kind of stuff that can help you get through those really rough days, (You've been there through some of mine recently, and I don't know if I can tell you how much your music has helped.) I hope to be able to be here to watch all of your future albums come out, and watch your fanbase grow. All in all, thankyou for being so amazing. =] And here's well wishes for everything you do in the future, because you deserve only the best.

This is pretty dope. Lyrical content is super dope. Nice substance. Great concepts, especially them baccround vocals. The compositional strategy is a great choice for this cut. The mix could use some help. Seems like all of it, could come up a bit. This could be hella flames, with the right sound engineer. #DopE

GET IT TOGETHER

I feel your concept but the song had too much going on with the band. I would maybe pick a new beat. Voice control is crucial in the industry. Lower the music and let your message through. Lyrics are in style nowadays. Overall I have to keep it real, the song has to come together to be taken seriously for marketability. Google a few exercises that give focus on projects. You'll find that having a regime of practice improves your ability. Keep the lyrics!

Feel it

The beat is not so hot but the vocals and the overall message is empowering and it's what a lot of people need to think about and not just think about And really need to take it in or hands physically and take apply actions to help save our own self

Potential if You guys: Get It Together

The melody on the rapping portion makes me cringe. And thus why I gave the song 2 stars. It seems corny, simple, too basic, reminiscent of something an artists would do when first starting out. Now, i'm big on constructive criticism, and not only talking about the negative. With that being said, The only reason I chose to give you guys feedback is the harmonizing. That aspect of the song reminded me of Robin Thicke when he features on a couple of lil Wayne songs. "Shooter" and "Tie My Hands" Far from sounding like Robin Thicke but you definitely showcased potential and honestly good enough if the MC came in Spitting some fire, some game. Some knowledge. Something provocative. etc. Getting it together is a serious subject matter that I feel could be expressed in a more swaggered out confident manner. Saying things that challenge the listener but also creative in the sense of using analogies, metaphors, word play, and not the cheese delivery. as an artists,, I feel You absolutely can not do a song and say this isn't a song we did to sell records, unless you do it like Kanye West did "Jesus Walks" I recommend writing 3 or 4 different delivery styles for the rap verses then picking the best sounding ones. then re uploading this track. I'd love to hear what you come up with! Hope this helps, Best of luck, and keep it up!

the idea is great. I like the idea. but you have to be structured. and let the instruments express themselves. adding a good folk guitar would be good /also work the voices in synchronization : otherwise it's good
