God Who Sees Me

Ever since 1980, Christians in America have been divided politically. If you vote Democratic, you vote to retain a representative form of government with individual liberty and care for the poor, but you vote for politicians who do not recognize unborn children as human. If you vote Republican, on the other hand, you defend the rights of the unborn, but you also sign up for an agenda of greed, which has been seeking for at least 50 years to destroy democracy in the United States, diminishing the power of the individual voter and strengthening the power of money, and ultimately replacing our democracy with a plutocratic kleptocracy -- a job that is perilously close to completion. While you may see your Republican vote as similar to the Abolitionists who banded together to end slavery in the 19th century, you find yourself making poltical bedfellows with the same forces that created slavery in the first place, and would gladly bringing it back if they could. The 2020 election will decide if we will bow down to a king, who rules by means of his own personal organized crime syndicate, operating above the law, thus effectively putting an end to the American Revolution, or if we will retain the Constitution and the Bill of Rights but continue slaughtering hundreds of thousands of innocent unborn every year. Either way, there will not be peace. Either way, as a Christian who believes the American Revolution was a gift from God, yet also believes that unborn children are human beings with a right to live, you have little or no place to stand politically, so the coming years are fraught with peril, no matter what you do. All you can do is stay close to Jesus, and obey, and let the chips fall where they may. That's what "God Who Sees Me" is all about. We released it as a new song on N1M a couple of months ago. I hope you will enjoy it again, and that it will feed your soul, and help you connect with God in Jesus Christ, to find your own way in these confusing times. Peace in Christ, Phil
