Hello Saints, I believe many of us will be familiar with, or heard of, the anacronym, GRACE, 'Gods Riches At Christ's Expense', which is very good and a clever way of remembering the sacrifice Jesus made for us and the reward we receive. Sometime ago, I was reflecting on the meaning of the word of Grace and the fact that Jesus gave up everything for us. Firstly to be born a man in our human likeness that we celebrate at Christmas, and then dying for our sins and rising from the dead at the time of the Jewish Passover celebration that we call Easter. I think it was the revelation that he gave up everything and that his love is so singular and focus towards us that I then had the idea of writing a song that reflected what the word Grace means to me. In this song, GRACE. The 'G' is for Giving the 'R' is for Reaching, the 'A' is for his singular Love, 'A' Love, not just any love. The 'C' is for Cost and the 'E' is for Eternal because Jesus did what he did with an eternal purpose in mind. The song also reminds me that Jesus GRACE is daily and continuous not just for every now and again.
