A sleezy review
This is track is cool I love the guitar in it makes me wanna grab one and hit some strings. I didn't expect vocals which I think brought the track out a lot more.....love it keep it up

Funk Master
When this solid comes on, it's solid. The first word that comes to mind for the music is FUNKY. It sounds like it should be something that should be on the I'm Gonna Get You Sucka soundtrack.... That was an old school movie, b.u.t. it's a classic. I also think about pimps somewhere doin' their thang. When the vocals come in it's kinda unexpected. Apparently, it's supposed to be a hook. AIn't nothin' wrong with it. It definitely further sets the tone for the track... On some, drink up, smoke up, enjoy yaself type ish.... Whoever is on the guitar starting off is dope. I reside on the east coast. Somehow I'm magically teleported to the west coast when this joint is playing. The best time to hear "Hold Up" would be in a live setting. It's something about live music, and how it's magnetic to the listener. I could see cats sitting around freestyling to this joint.

Nice funk groove would have liked to her a female vocalist to round out that funk feel with some ad libs a few say what's give it that 80"s funk sound the plucking on the the base line was nice I'm a drummer so I did think the drum track was a little flat where's the fill on the turn around coming out of the chorus ??. Does take me back to my Barkay"s Cameo Parliament days great musianship the only thing missing are the horns never forget the horns in a funk track ......

Great Groove
I love it !! Recorded really well and just a great funky song , well done guys !! My only criticism is the snare tone , i know your in the Hip Hop genre but it sounds too trash can for my liking but thats just my opinion , i'd like to hear the track with a more full rounded snare tone . If the only thing i pick is the snare, then your doing a great job. :-)

That guitar in the beginning is a good intro. This is my type music. I can see a live band and an MC performing this jam on stag. Absolutely anybody can get into this song. I'm a hip-hop/ funk fan myself, but it's near impossible to listen to this without getting into the groove. Highly recommended if you have any sort of appreciation for this music at all. Great work.
