I'm also playing at ROSFest in Saratoga, Florida on April 17, 12:30 - 1:30 pm at the Saratoga Opera House in the Beer Garden. It's a free event so come on down, grab a cold beverage or two and enjoy music both old and new, original and covers with the potential for special guests to join in the fun!

And for everyone who has been asking about purchasing music - surf on over to (expired link) where MRR Music have my CDs and digital media available for sale. You can also find me on your favorite streaming services including Spotify, Amazon Music and YouTube Music among others.

We are thrilled to announce the signing of Robert Svilpa for his upcoming releases, Foucault’s Pendulum and To Sleep, Perchance to Dream. Robert is an enigma – iconoclastic in how he tears down boundaries and beliefs held dear in music and just about anything else, mercurial in his approaches to creativity in writing and music. All while honoring influences by pushing against the tried and true – eschewing the easy path to grow in skills and incorporate everything he hears and listens to into his work.
Foucault’s Pendulum to officially be released on March 11th with pre-orders kicking off in February 11th.
Roberts's first public appearance for Foucault’s Pendulum will be
an acoustic solo performance in the beer Garden during RoSFest at the Sarasota Opera House on Sunday, April 15th: 12:30 – 1:30.
In a statement about the signing to MRR Robert had this to say. "Nick and I have been talking about this day for a very long time now - at least since 2009 when I had just released the "a fine line between..." album. To finally be able to arrive here and have my latest album "Foucault's Pendulum" be a part of the fantastic roster of artists and music is very special to me - I'm very proud to be a part of the MRR family!"

Hi Friends - I just uploaded a new song that's in progress of recording, vocals are next on the schedule. All the material on my double CD / 110 minute digital download can be found on my Bandcamp site - (expired link) - with the last song in the writing stage and will be recorded over the next month or so.

Work is progressing really well now on the new album "To sleep perchance to dream..." - Andy Edwards and Jimmy Keegan have both sent over their drum performances for the songs they are working on, and will be receiving bass tracks from John Jowitt in the near future. I'll be scheduling Thomas Lang's recordings very soon, as well as Marc Miller and Jeffrey McCormack's work coming up.

Pre-orders for the album are available at our Bandcamp site - robertsvilpa(dot)bandcamp(dot)com - where you can buy the digital download of the album in high fidelity versions of over 100 minutes of music for a measly $7. Or buy individual tracks for just a buck (yes, $1).

this is a first draft demo of the marquee song from the next album that is in the writing stage right now. It will see a lot more work and more instruments/arrangements, as well as vocals, but this is the framework that we'll be hanging all the bling off of. Hope you enjoy the tune!

this is a very early demo of what would be either an intro to an album or interlude between heavier songs - or both. I took the opportunity to try out some new music gear on this, a Roli Seaboard Block keyboard that will get a lot more of a workout in the near future. Sometime soon I'll write lyrics and lay vocals down which will provide much more structure to this than it has right now.
