Well done instrumental

Nice work!! Smooth song, well recorded, engineered, played and balanced. Long instrumental intro's are tough to do, you have to make them interesting and poignant without a defined "picture". At 10:40, it's rather long, but you made it WORK! Congratulations on a job well done. :)

Odd Feelings review

This song starts out really cool with the deep guitar and heavy drums. It hits home for many of the old school progressive rock as well as new listeners that want to find something not as 'pop' as the market has become. This has a musical feel of bands along the lines of Pink Floyd, etc while bringing in a vocal style that emerged in the nineties. Very nice mix on the whole song as well. You have achieved what I would call a 'big concert' sound that has a solid place in today's market. Keep up the great work!

Hey Osmuga, it´s a pleasure listening to your music! It´s a great work composing and playing all the instruments of the song and also singing! I like the dark melody sung by a low and deep voice. The instrumental part and guitars makes me remember Pink Floyd´s style. Trust your music, trust yourself and tell the world what you need through your music! Never leave what makes You happy.

Not Bad

This song isn't bad. The only fault with it is it is too long. A bit of judicious editing would make this a great song and give it a greater chance of getting played on the radio. Keep on rocking!

OSMUGA - Odd Feelings REVIEW

Great tonal flow with the guitars. Very well structured song. I enjoyed listening to this track very much. Such a great tune to sit a reflect on life to. I’ve always been a big fan of songs that where the music alone grabs me. At first I thought it was an instrumental and I wanted to keep listening. And then I was surprised when the solemn vocals came in and tied everything together perfectly. I will be looking to hear more songs from OSMUGA...Great job!

Not sure how to critique this . Starts out lazy guitars really wet. I wish my recordings were as clean as this. Feels very much like a clone song. Old dood like me has a hard time relating to the lyrics on the first listen. Nice for all the shoegazers but me very predictable start to finish with no surprises within the monotone.

Feeling Odd

"OSMUGA" has sent me a request to review their song "Odd Feelings". Sometimes, I will find out later that the artist never sent a request to be reviewed and that Number One Music has sent out an algorithm. Now, it's not that I'm not a fan of long songs but the song has to have something in it to grab my attention. Thank god for the guitar leads!. These are really good tracks and an exceptional mix.

solid foundation

solid instrument mix. vocals a touch too low in the mix, especially with signing in the lower register. im not listening on headphones so i kinda can't hear all the lyrics. nice chord structure but it doesn't change for the entire 10 minutes until the very end. not sure what your vision of the song is. in my opinion i would cut some of the excess jam while still showcasing the guitar lead and focus more on the vocal section. it would be a stronger track

I'm glad I never put my alternative playlist away, because it's alive and well in a band called OSMUGA!

The first thoughts that pop in my head are where are they from? and do they have any more songs? Because I certainly want to see them live and hear a lot more from this group. They have an Alice In Chains sensibility and a delivery of a Pearl Jam or Stone Temple Pilots, The song itself didn't seem to take up to the 10 minutes and 40 seconds that were listed because even as the song drew to a close, I was still hoping for more and more. The production was great except I would have made the vocal more intelligible and clear without sacrificing the overall feeling of the song. But that is just the way that I produce things. Everything else was spot on. Great job guys!

Good Intro

Helpful

I like the intro to the song. Has a 90s feel to it. Vocals are good . I like the Tone on the guitars a very in key of Minor feel to it. The drum track is nice. Has kind of a Pink Floyd feel as well which is never a bad thing. Keep up the recordings. Take Care.

Oddities

One of the things I enjoy most about Number One Music artists is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here, with this song the killer guitar subtle intro is a great retro throwback to the early 70's - perfectly classified as Classic Rock. Vocally I think the singer is trying to sing in a lower tone - though I bet if he brought it up an octave or two it would really be a hit.

Brutal development.

Reaching 11 minutes of song "Odd Feelings" is still short. I love this track, is a collision between Pink Floyd and Alice in Chains in my opinion, great development and feel, great sound in general. Don´t give up dude! I want to hear more of your great works.
