Nice cover of this song...Nice cover of this song... An all time favorite of mine, this is covered very nicely... Nice groove and amended chord structures... I would love to have the bridge taken to a more aggressive level to really drive the out choruses... Very nice... thanks so much for sharing your music :-) Blessings !!!
What the World Needs Now ReviewI like the swing of this classic. Good sweet voice - you're vibrato is a bit fast, but sweet tone. Love the Spanish coming in on the verse. As the song progresses, I'm getting into it - was going to rate it kind of low, but it's growing on me as I listen. I would give it 5 stars, but only thing that bothers me is the fast vibrato. Other than that, perfect arrangement, great music bed, nice modulation, nice guitar work - great cover. Would like to hear some original music from this artist.
Cute concept songBeautiful Disney princess like vocals charm this cute rendition with alternate language punctuating the concept that the whole world needs love. I like this idea. The music actually sounds like it comes from the original era of this song with poppy keyboards and strings. It's almost like bubble gum pop meets the disco era of music production.
Good musicI like this song. The style sounds Pop of the 70s/80s of the last century. The lyrics talk about love and it's sung in two langauges. The instruments used are percussion, bass guitar, guitar, kewboard, and others. The vocal perfomance is good accompanied by backing vocals. The bottom line: a good catchy track that a person could enjoy.
What the world needs is this song!!First of all, I love the title and the theme of the song :) The singing is sooo beautiful. A clear voice that's easy to understand and seems perfectly comfortable on the higher notes. LOVE IT. The backing chorus is really nice, too -- a pleasant contrast to the higher-voiced lead. The language changes came as a surprise, but it works well because it gives a "global" vibe. (That's clever!) Even more impressive is that ... unless I'm mistaken ... the vocalist sings in MULTIPLE different languages in this songs. And, as far as I can tell, it's flawless, too, OMG. One issue I did notice, though, is that the master volume seems to randomly fluctuate. At first I thought it was my headphones being weird...but it didn't go away when I adjusted them. So maybe check on that. Anyhow overall a five-star song, in my humble opinion :) :)
What we need.A nice and sweet 80’s influenced song about what we all really need the most of. Love. I like the switch to the latin part. Nice harmonies and a well crafted song. The songlines fall naturally and blend into eachother. A bit Burt Bacharachish touch to it. Listening to this in the morning will make your day a better one. :)
VocalsLove that this song is bilingual. You don't get too many covers that are universal on this scale. And it is done tastefully so I appreciate that. Also this song is mastered well. I can hear the words clearly without them overpowering the melody. The background isn't clashing with the main vocals, allowing you to hear the words without it sounding echoey . The only thing is that this song isn't original but it wouldn't matter if I was hearing this song for the first time in my life I would think it was the original. I say that you did a great job on this song. I appreciate this skills and time it must have taken to put it together. Good songs take time and thought and I can hear that both was placed into this melody. Keep up the good work!
Love itThis is a great song, Loving the production very much. Liking the message. And having lyrics in English and Spanish is very much in at the moment, clever and so thumbs up for that. Deserve all the success possible for such a tune. Do continue to shine, keep up the good work guys. !! x.o.x
SweetI love your voice but I can hear some shaking going, maybe you were a little nervous? Try and relax, have fun with it and be more confidant because you sound amazing! I love the mix between the spanish and english in this song. Great job!
What The World Needs Now is LoveThis is one more amazing production for a very cheerful song, with a contagious rhythm that impels us to shake the head. I think it's really a song that should be in the top of Pop music of Number One Music. I also really liked the other themes available on the page, like I said before. I think is on the right way, and in terms of music production is really, really well done and I have to congratulate you on it again. I'm waiting for new themes, with the same quality. Best wishes !! JB
Backing vocalsVery nice backing vocals. Main voice it is not in the best range of sound I am afraid, but the voice itself it is very nice. The string midi section it is in perfect place I think. The guitar arpeggio ends to be a bit repetitive
Very nice voice!Hello! A very attractive music with a very beautiful voice! The orchestration is realized well, with a lot of aeration. We find jazzy accents and music of Brazil. It is the music which puts forward(advances) the singer, and the bass, in the pure tradition "pop" follows the bass drum(big box); it is not very original, but in this style, that goes well. The agreements of synths are discreet and effective. A good work!
Beautiful and inspiringvery beautifully done and performed ,very special and meaningful message. it is nice that you combined english with spanish and french. congratulations! good job! keep the good work! :) the singer sounds professional and it is very important, I liked mainly the message behind
Impressive CoverversionThese studio recording unleashes again the imagination of the popular song with lyrics by Hal David and music composed by Burt Bacharach. First record and made popular by Jackie DeShannon, released on April 15, 1965, on the Imperial label. The song reached immediately number 7 on the US Hot 100 charts of the same year. A song with a heartful message and what the world needs now. Much Love! Jackie was a class all by herself. But now comes the vocalist with this great interpretation very close. She has a unique dynamic voice, a brilliant vocal projection and sings with a soul of sweet love. This extra factor brings really new feeling into the song. The wonderful keyboard-sounds creating a nice space. Soft played melodies and a virtuos acoustic guitar carry the recording. This is definitely a very professional new arrangement. A really perfect studio recording and overall an impressive cover-version. The song was a radio hit and it´s worth to listen to this ambitous reproduction. I´m sure, you will like to add it. Let others know your recommendation.
What the World Needs Now is LoveGreat song to redo. I love the arrangement and the vocalist is good for this song, however, I would speed it up a bit because the vocalist has a very present vibrato that becomes more apparent on held out notes. The english spanish lyric arrangement works great. It was a good idea to use the flugelhorn used in the original recording. It is a bit of familiar for those who know the song. Lastly, the background vocals sound awesome. Very much enjoyed this!
