THE GIG WITH NO NAME

Let this be known and clear from the start. Know what we are about with out blemish or disguise so you can make an honest and truthful decision as to whether or not to attend.
We are not a big rave. We are a small warehouse event for people in the musical and artistic communities who can appreciate difference and diversity made available to all with out discrimination.
We don't care what clothes you wear, we don't care if you like different kinds of music. We embrace that. Share your different tastes with us so that we may know them and together be inspired to create new things from our differences!
We are not about promoting Dj's, bands, Mc's, rappers or anyone of public status. We are about promoting the music they play and create. Not the figure, the sound. The names of our performers won't be published but you should know, they are all screened by people with years, some over a decade of experience. The music is here for you to enjoy. Not for a performer to get feelings of stardom over. We can and will play what suits the crowd and if that's not rave music at the time, then we won't play rave music at that time.
We will create musical moments on the dance floor the likes that will never be seen or known again by anyone other than the people who have attended. It will be something you will need to be there to experience. This is not a 'night'. This is a party!
Don't come if you want an excuse to get drunk or take drugs. Don't come if you think joining our community will thrust your career to new heights. Don't come if you want to be the person telling all your friends you were here.
Come if you want to find new friends here.
Come if you can accept the moment as it is.
Come if you don't need to take music seriously and can enjoy it for what it is.
Come if your tired of going to places with a whole list of social restrictions like dress codes and music genre's and 'set times' and pass out times and so forth.
Come if you want to hear the guys no one gets to hear and meet them at a personal and equal level.
Come if your that awkward guy or girl who secretly likes weird and nerdy things that you can't tell other people you like from fear they'll look at you strangely.
Come if you are strange!
Come if you are original and creative!
Come if you want to be a part of something that embodies progress!
Come if you're not afraid to hear new music even if it means you might not like it but can still appreciate it until we play something you do like!
Come if you don't need drugs or booze to have fun!
Come if you just want to shake off a shit week and hang out with people where you can be yourself, dance like nobodies watching, and not live up to any expectations!
