About Myakka Skunk Apes

Created in 2016, Myakka Skunk Apes include singer/guitarist Chris Edwards, lead guitarist Seth Kochonin, aka 50Seth, Wade Mack on drums, and Miles Beamguard handles bass chores. Bob Edwards adds background vocals, harmonica, and helps with song writing.

The band completed their debut CD "Possible Sighting" in December 2016, featuring eight original songs and a Waylon Jennings cover, "Just to Satisfy You". The band was featured in Relix magazine's March 2017 issue in the "Artists to Watch" section and the "Perhaps That's Best" single was chosen for the March 2017 Relix CD sampler.

During 2020 we started learning how to remote record and have been able to continue writing, jamming, and producing new material to share. We are eternally grateful.
