Song Reviews

Bella

Small features, makes bigger impact

I'll be honest here, I had no way idea of how to really judge this as I've not really listened to this type of music before other than hearing it within films and video game soundtracks. As it comes to the title, I would say the intro is the least impactful, however due to curiosity to see where things led, I'm really glad I held on, it picked up and it became such a beautiful piece. Percussion: I love the management of the percussion, the cadence of the drums. I would suggest rise on the toms / bass drums in the the back, so it really has an impact (velocity change or automation). The Cymbals could have a longer release / tail as it does drop a bit too quickly, however the cymbal at the end where the heartbeats connect has the perfect release which should be consistent. Intro: With the intro I would suggest maybe layering this a bit more and adding stereo width so when that flute finishes that moment it really feels more of a guidance - the guitar / sitar entry is perfect. There's nothing else I can really say about it, definitely would love to see these pieces in a project, really does carry that emotion. Best of luck with your future projects!

Celtic

Very nice composition - very well performed - For a instrumental composition the music style is kind of special - sophisticated but popular - Solo instruments and voices are very well suited with arrangement which is very rich with lot of very sophisticated well played instruments - In my opinion this composition have all attributes to be internationally promoted - So go for it - This is great work - Keep on and do more of this fantastic music - Thank you I enjoy...

Melancholy journey

This music seduces us into the melancholy sounds. Relaxation while listening is guaranteed. The composition and arrangement are very successful. The quality of the production is remarkable.

celtic

atmosfera celtica che fa sognare e rilassare con stumenti adatti per questo genere quasi da film con l'impronta di sonorità' irlandese e scozzese che richiama grandi spazi di natura selvaggia

Breath of fresh air

The intro of this song is like a breath of fresh air with the flutes. When the vocals come in with the strong forte of music it's captivating. The vocals are beautiful, crisp, and have lots of clarity. The recording is very well done. The sound separation with the instrumentation is excellent, it gives this musical score that motion picture feel. The song is balanced with all of the things going on in it. The orchestration is very well implemented into the song structure giving the song life and movement.

Music review

As i began listening to the music it gave me a sense of going on a quest as if I am goingnon a long journey and I am traveling far into a different land. A quest of love a quest of bravery through the wilderness. To utter greatness in the end. And even though treacherous there is no fear. Listening to this so I felt that is has similar Scottish vibes to it playing the games. I likes the whaling I don't know if it was a real voice or a bear. Great music I like it.

HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like the production sound and the vibe of the track along with the smoothness. I can feel the heart in this showing you've put in some dedicated work on your art. I love the hypnotism and the vocals like a big production score . More artist should study the roots of their culture of art more to be better at their own art. Keep up the good work and stay in the lab creating new material to stay fresh and on your toes. If you're ever looking for a hip hop collaboration hit me up I'm versatile. Peace!

NICE SONG REMINDS ME OF TITANIC IN SOME WAY!!

A nice song well crafted that reminds me of the famous song from the film Titanic but it moves into a very original middle section. Clearly cinematic there must be a film out there for it to find. I truly hope that I will see this in a film indeed I would be happy if asked to help that quest. Interesting choices of instruments. I like the feeling of a heartbeat at the end a very nice touch in a world where we are all .living very close to the edge!

4.5

I can feel the emotion in this music. The untold sorrow & mourning that starts out this track. It takes you on a journey threw out the song. I wouldn't have thought the middle section would be like what it was. I love the heartbeat effect and the percussions on the song it really adds to it.Its like a Celtic renaissance I give this track a 4.5 out of 5 for its quality.

Review of TEARS IN GLENCOE

Thank you for asking me to review your music. First of all I enjoy Celtic music. This starts off with a soft tone that continues to build throughout. Sounds like a Hurdy-gurdy and some Bagpipes. There is a nice set of percussion instruments that give it a nice boost. The vocal sets a nice tone throughout the peace. It is very pleasant to listen to. It has quite the theme to it like a type of anthem to it. Nicely played. All the best!

"Tears in Glencoe" composition review

Helpful

"Tears in Glencoe" is splendid celtic instrumental of duo Mo Anam Cara. Personally, as a guitar artist, I've been several time influenced by celtic mellos, and this composition particulary has quite relaxing flowing mood, and features enough doses of both, nostalgia and freedom. Personally, I do like this composition and I hope I will be stay in touch with this celtic duo and I recommend their music for easy listening. Cheers!

I enjoyed the serious tradition of TEARS IN GLENCOE by MO ANAM CARA. The ancient flute is beautiful with a style also heard in some Native American music. Everything from the chord changes to the rhythm track are played with instruments and music seemingly from centuries ago. When the voice comes in it is also a beautiful melody but expressing anguish. The bagpipes set it apart. Like the flute, it sounds like music coming from the hills. TEARS IN GLENCOE must be a tragic song, but important to the descendants of the people who suffered it, and important to all who hope to never suffer it.

Hi, Mo Anam Cara! Thanks for inviting me to review your song. My pleasure. If what you aimed is to transmit peace and contemplative beauty, you got me! A "paceful" and peaceful tune, taking my time to listen and appreciate! The voice is nice, the instruments are part of the scenery, and the music abstracts us to a land of calmness. Whether it is on top of a mountain or at the beach, by the sea. Grateful for this beauty and congrats for the good work!

I know what are You trying to do..so keep It as It is for a Album but for a Music Publisher You MUST keep It below3 min mark.. There is a Lot of Room to do that..Remember Music Publisher will gave You at MOST 15 sec if You will Not catch His Ear.. nothing will happen.. and also for a Radio Play is to long ..so If I be You I will make a 2 Version of It.. any how I do not know How They will react.. but Remember Instrumental Music is Very Hard to pitch..but try.. let's see what will happen.. but do not expect much...Good Luck..
