Peace , Mic Militant is a well seasoned hip hop artist from the Bronx who takes the creation of a work very seriously. With his smooth tone and his unique style whenever or wherever he touches the mic he brings forth originality. The man behind the music started to elevate his craft as an artist in 2011. Raised in the Bronx, NY Mic Militant was exposed to music early in his life. The blueprint to his music journey began with the struggle and pain he endured during his life. Picking up the craft came with some sacrifices along the way. For example the lack of sleep, the cause of maintaining a 9 to 5, and being a dedicated father in the midst of multiple hell storms. He managed to build from the ground up and create a stable environment to hone in on his gift of music. While working for the state of NY and learning more about the direction of his music journey Mic Militant grew to learn his position in this industry. He didn't have any position in it nor was a position assigned to him. So he brought to life GFB Inc. A company that would focus on independent artists in his hood to collaborate to make something creative. With the lack of support the dream seemed to fall short and the fire was extinguished momentarily. In 2015 Mic Militant had an opportunity to work with another independent artist from Chicago. They partnered up and began to travel from state to state with a minimal budget to sell music on cds to not only make a living but also spread the word that GFB Inc is the movement. Along this lonely road the turmoil that awaited the team was part of the learning experience. It wasn’t easy standing somewhere random and not making a profit on an investment you invested in.
