    The MICHAEL LAUREN Trio “Live at Mobydick Records
    The Michael Lauren Trio plays Hard Swinging and Funky Jazz performed in one of the more important formations of Jazz, the Guitar Trio. This Trio emphasizes elegance, intensity, interactivity, swing and groove.
    The Trio features the original tunes by the group’s leader and drummer Michael Lauren and guitarist Vasco Agostinho. Bassist João Custódio rounds out the trio. In addition to being an incredible musician with a long playing career, Michael has a teaching career that spans more than 50 years, teaching music and jazz in both the US and Portugal. His importance as a musician, drummer, in the national panorama is absolutely undeniable.
