Mechkov

Hi All,
Thanks so much for adding yourselves to my N1M network. It's been a while coming, but (finally) the new Mechkov album, Postcards of Winter, is up on all streaming and download sites. If you've been enjoying the music on my N1M page, then you'll have heard a track or two already, but the whole thing is now available everywhere. Give it a go!

On the Mechkov bandcamp site ( (expired link) ) you can find other albums, too, as well as the chance to buy a signed CD... Do people still buy CDs? Well, it seems so! The album is not exactly getting into any charts, but it is selling pretty well... I'd be so thrilled if you could get one, too... Or just a digital version... Or just a stream...

Anyway, I trust this finds you well and rest assured, the next mechkov album is already underway :-)

Yes! At last! It's been a while coming, but the new Mechkov album is finally out... To a degree! Yes, unfortunately, Universal have had a few issues and the full online distribution isn't yet up and running – but it will be very shortly. In the meantime, the album can be streamed and downloaded on the Mechkov bandcamp site ( (expired link) ) and CDs are available, too.

I've just uploaded three new, complete and fully mastered songs onto the N1M site, but of course, it would be great if you could buy the album - or even just some of the songs. That way, I might be able to afford to upgrade my membership with N1M!

Please share the album with everyone you know, but above all, enjoy it. I'm really proud of this one.

Thanks again for subscribing to my N1M page. Thanks to you people Frayed at the Edges has risen to the heady heights of Number 2 on the UK pop chart on this site and has sat there for two weeks now. I'm very happy – especially as this is not the finished version.

I finished the recording work on my new album (new working title of 'Postcards of Winter') and everything is now sitting in my producer's studio awaiting mixing. Unfortunately, he has had a bit of an emergency that has taken him to France for a few days, but once he's back we can make a date to start working on the mix downs and mastering.

Needless to say I am very excited. Postcards of Winter is going to be my most accessible, commercial album ever. Much more poppy, shorter and punchier – and with all the numbers written by me and my producer, Brian. It's the first time I've had a collaborator for a long time. It's really good to work with someone you can bounce ideas off. It's certainly given me a new energy for my writing

I've just uploaded two songs, one of which (Mr New Horizons) will be on my forthcoming album to be released later this year. The second, All Systems Go, is from my current album, Rough Cuts, which is available on all good streaming sites and (better still) is purchasable from iTunes, Amazon and other digital outlets.
