News Update Maurice Doulgas February 14th 2015 Hi everyone, January & February have been extremely active and very busy months, and it doesn’t stop there. I Maurice will be performing with my band Room 602, playing the music of Wishbone Ash! at the following venues to date: Riverside Lodge Morpeth on the 13th March 2015, and the Creswell Arms Newbiggin on May 3rd 2015, more information can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/maurice.douglas.142/events There is also more original music on the way! both studio & live, and I have serious plans to put an Acoustic 3 -4 piece band together which will hopefully include Acoustic Guitars Violin Bass & Light Percussion. Much of my new song material has a Folk Rock feel about it, and due to the past difficulties in forming a full original band, I have decided to keep things simple for the time being. Name musicians have also shown an interest in my song writing, and a window of opportunity could be just around the corner in early 2015 regarding original projects. I do enjoy though performing the music of Wishbone Ash, but my aim is to run both projects side by side and possibly perform a support solo set at one or two of the Room 602 gigs.
