Mark Elmer band

Hello everyone, it has been a while since I have contacted , hard to make music happen right now, I still pick up my trusty old guitar, or play my Ukulele. but its just not the same with no end goal right now. thank you all for your patience in awaiting the second album.
I have retreated to woodworking for now to release my creativity, it is theraputic and helps my heart.
I have been making ukuleles and dulcimers and have really been enjoying working with my wife while quarantining.
Chin up everyone, things will return to normal eventually. we will get to play and sing again. This to shall pass!

Thanks for subscribing, we have a new album in the works at "subatomic" studio in Seattle and we will go back in the studio soon to finish it up (as soon as we scrape the funds together) so I will keep you posted on our progress. We have the rhythm tracks and most of the vocals done , still needs some polishing and cleanup but it will contain 12 new songs! and I cant wait for you to hear it.
Keep on lovin on the good music and ignoring the haters!

hey everybody, Mark here! I head up a band here in the northwest called the SofaKings and we play original music plus a bunch of great classic rock and new rock covers in the style of a four piece string band! I play the guitar and sing, we got Mike Bayse on the cajon drum and backing vocals, Kenny Goldstein on upright bass and backing vocals and Dietrich Neuman on mandolin, fiddle, guitar, harmonica and backing vocals. We play classic rock acoustically like you have never heard before and its so much fun!
We have the joy and honor of playing at the Feckin irish brewery on March 16th in oregon city from 7-10 pm. tell all your friends, let make this a great big party! no cover! its free for all!
