Pianist-Composer, Marc Matthys, born in Ghent in 1956, was attracted to music from a very early age. He made his first steps on the international music scene in 1964 when he won an European title at the Accordion Competition of the “Communauté Européenne de l’Accordéon” in Paris.

Soloist announcement ~ Livestream Event April 19, 2021

Pianist-singer Nathalie Matthys will join the stage on April 19 in classical and jazz compositions. She is the youngest daughter of Marc and Hilde, and completed het education at Indiana University (USA) as a Fulbright Grantee in June 2020. Jazz-electro pop singer Vanessa Matthys (picture) will join the stage on April 19 in various jazz compositions. She studied at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris.
