LuX zootorpe "Dancing serpent"

Upon the very first listen to LuX zootorpe "Dancing serpent" - you cannot help but be impressed by the musicianship and exceptional production values. I was additionally knocked out by how original this artist's overall sound is, while there are noticeable influences present...it's definitely a unique and compelling sound. Looking forward to hearing more from LuX zootorpe!

Hey man....really nicely done......great textures, and some really cool influences goin on here ! The changes in the drums are very interesting & defiantly have a cool vibe goin. on... Very cool vocal things goin on here too. Is this a previous work or more recent ?

Ok. You're a Poet.

But is it a song? Even alternative songs need structure, and some separation or attention to the chorus, refrain, whatever, that points to the main theme of the song. Other than a few modulations and some pounding drums, this song just stays in one rut. I wanted so much more from these lyrics. Here are these great lyrics, and you didn't even sing the last third of the song...I played it twice to make sure I hadn't missed something and I want to be as honest as possible, because that is what you want, right? I know sometimes that once something is recorded, we don't have the finances or situation to go back to it. I don't know your personal situation. But if you can, and it was me, which it isn't, I would work more on this song. It is worth the effort. But, really, this melody is WAY TOO predictable. It doesn't go anywhere. I am not fooled by taking it up a step or pounding harder on the drums... And especially not by screaming the lyric. Does that REALLY go with your lyric? What does a snake writhing sound like? Your lyrics give you so many places to go creatively, musically.. And they just DON'T. I just know you are better than this! Don't settle. And give your song enough texture to accentuate the theme of your song, which is typically the chorus. I really hope this helps.

Wow great song

The music had great sounds and tones that really grabbed my attention. Songwriting and vocals were on point and brought as much to the song as the music did. Very well made and I really did enjoy it a lot. Just wanted to give you a little feedback didn’t have anything negative to say about it at all. Thanks for your time

Unique and cool

"Dancing Serpent" by LuX zootorpe is a really good song with a unique and cool sound. The vocals fit well and I like the way they go from mellow, smooth and clean to strong and raspy at different intervals of the song. The guitars go from clean to distorted as well and the story is told nicely with the arrangement. The harmonies work well and the overall song is cool and entertaining right up to the powerful abrupt ending.

Pezzo carino

Pezzo carino pur essendo rock ll cantante come voce rauca va bene ma dovrebbe perfezionarsi con il canto e così sarebbe perfetto con la sua voce specialmente negli alti ⁹perché qualcosa c'è ma dovete migliorare forza

Dance Serpent Dance!

One of the things I enjoy most about Number One Music artists is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here, with this song it brings back memories of the 1980's teenage movies you'd expect to see torn lovers in angst wonder why their love was tearing them apart. Musically, well produced and vocally, well, blends for this style of music. Fun beats.

catchy melody

Helpful

Interesting melody, very reminiscent of smashing pumpkins and other 90's alternative bands. Well played although some of the guitar tones sound very POD-ish. (not a fan of that particular thin tone) Bass and drums could be a bit more upfront in the mix, the guitars are way too up front and have no separation, making them a bit chaotic in the mix. The main issue I have here is the vocals are just way too hard to discern, which is a shame because it appears that tonally and vocally they were probably done fairly well, but they are so effected and behind the guitar tracks as to be mush. Some Judicious EQ work, track separation, and the knowledge that almost all mixes HAVE to be dedicated to the lead vocal coming through, and the rest of the band mixed with some clarity and behind would do this song well. Remember to start with the kick, snare and bass, bring the vocal up in front of that, and the guitars (except for the solo work of course) notched so as not to interfere with the vox, brought up behind them and panned if multiple tracks

Dancing serpent by LUX Zootrope . Belgium Brussels Alternative Rock . yes i really like this track its slow and laid back with a haunting sound to it . i like the key board playing too . i like the way the singer express him self . he is singing about life and a woman and the way she dress and wear her hair . then i like how the music change from slow then it speed up and get faster and more aggressive - then the music goes back to the slow original beat -- i also like the short solo gitar playing on this track .. yeah this music has different elements to it . i also like the drumming on the track it create the energy to the track . i like at the end it speed up then finish on the original slow beat . real skills . this song need some promotion and hype .. it has a rock element to it .. yeah this is a good song

FIRST REVIEW FOR THESE GUYS NICE CHORD INTRODUCTION AND SOME UNEXPECTED MUSICAL CHANGES HELP THIS TRACK ALONG ITS OWN TRAJECTORY.WOULD LOVE TO SEE THE LEVEL OF THE SONG ADJUSTED IN THE PRODUCTION OTHERWISE DEFINITELY WORTH CHECKING OUT

Unique Alternative Rock

Diversified recording with brilliant disharmonical introduction. Dynamic vocals of the singer and impressive songstructure make this arrangement engaging for me. Great lyrical story and sudden bursts of emotion brings really power into the song. Perfect drums and distorted e-guitar increase on a higher level. Varied rock-guitar riffs playing the main role plus impressive lyrics. The guitars are exactly where they should be on a track of this quality, but all instruments stand out. This arrangement is more creative than some others. Very good mixed and overall professional mastered. The song is really something special!

Dancing Serpent review

This is really an interesting style of song to be reviewing. I feel you have a unique lead vocalist that carries the melody in a nicely appealing style. The additional backing vocals are also a big plus. My only concern is in the production. It is lacking the quality mix that most songs that come across the internet now have. If you could take it back in for a remix, it would help your song tremendously. There are enough parts in it that would benefit from a new production so that the real emphasis would be on the melody and vocals. Good luck with your moving forward.

Bela canção

Traços psicodélicos, me chamaram a atenção. Gosto quando a musica tende a parecer desconjuntada, porém no meio fica tudo claro o progressivo, vocal e bem legal, a bateria com vários compassos torna a canção mais dinâmica. Obrigado!
