A fictional narrative about a woman coming to accept and subsequently publish the gospel of Christ, Anna Post Writing features a wealth of viscerally exciting and delightfully surprising musical developments - all bound together with immense energy and a love of the craft.
Strongest Point(s):
Really strong compositional elements at work here - the various rhythms and motifs fit together nicely and keep the song moving forward. Great instrumental tones, from the bright piano to the synth lines and all the way back to the nicely overdriven guitars. The bass player is incredible for the genre - really ramping up the rhythmic intensity without abandoning the pocket - and the lead vocals are classic and clear. This is excellent work!
Target Audience Appeal:
Those that grew up listening to the titans of Classic Rock and those that remember the earlier days of Living Waters career will find the tone and feel of Anna Post Writing to be irresistible, but the confluence of compositional attention to detail and the lyrical focus on good news through the Gospel are destined to draw in faithful listeners from all backgrounds!
